For cleanup you might want to try what we did back in the ‘older’ days. Wrap a tiny bit of cotton around the end of a wood stick. In my younger days I never heard of a clean-up brush. Even my daughter who was a nail tech was taught to do it that way. Then go in with a clean-up brush if you need to. Hope this helps. What brush fits the NOL bottle? Thanks Jennifer! You are such a delight to watch.

Thank you so much! 😚 I definitely remember the days before a cleanup brush, when you had to just figure things out by trial and error. there was no KZbin to get help. Growing up I didn't even have a computer in my house until I got married. Glisten and glow and Kbshimmers replacement brushes are identical and they both fit the night owl bottles 😊

For glitters and reflective and other more difficult to remove formulas, try using a wood stick for clean up! I find them to be a lot easier than clean up brushes when it comes to glitter-y polishes 😊
@JenniferDufoe7 ай бұрын
I'll have to try that. I can see how the stick can scrape the glitter off as opposed to my cleanup brush, just pushing it around on my skin. Thank you 😊

[0:25] mismatched earrings is modern! :) One thing I've always wondered is if we could cut the edges of the squared brushes ourselves to make a paddle shape. I'm not saying we *should* have to do that, but is it even possible with a steady hand? I'm gonna try it! I might be too lazy to replace brushes, but if I could give them a better shape easily, I'd do that. [9:29] You look so good in those white flakie bombs! I've only worn reflective glitter maybe 1-2 times but now after reading the comments, I'll try using a stick to remove them. Your channel is full of good tips! 💅😜 🤗💜

I _live_ for reflective glitter 🤩🤩. And I agree, the clean-up is messy but worth it haha.

First off, let me say that your commentary in this video cracked me up! lol I concur with everything you said, from the magnetic polishes, the reflective glitters (recently discovered them and am in love), the square brush, and more! The flakie polishes are so pretty. I recently purchased some holo flakes to play with. Love your polish picks; very nice! Looking forward to the Mooncat polish review as I've head mixed opinions about that brand. That blue color is amazing! Enjoy your trip!

Thank you so much! 😊 Yes, there's no denying how beautiful that blue polish is, even me watching my own video. I'm staring at my nails. 💙 The review on mooncat is a little mixed so I want to try to word things a little better than normal, usually I write down how many coats I use, but the rest I just wing it from memory 🤪 I have some extra videos that I'm going to put in the review as well, as far as a wear test.

Ugh! Were You Even In A Punk Band is STUNNING. I totally agree about square bottles and brushes. Annoying. The worst is when it's a super skinny bottle. I'm a klutz and knock them over way too often.

With some bottles you have to be careful every time you dip the brush in the bottle 😒

I've joined quite a few pre-order sites on the Facebook group, so I keep up on quite a few different ones, but I think it's easier for me not to purchase a ton, I don't really care for pink. I hate purple for the most part plain shimmery polishes don't really do much for me. My weakness is ordering straight from different companies websites where I could just pick a ton of different colors in my favorite finishes. 🤗

I had to cut Krisable at the last second at Ppu, so I’m glad you enjoyed the brand and the brush.

I have to cut quite a few polishes in PPU this month. I had a huge list starting out. I like to only buy three but I still have four on my list. How's it going for you this month?

I've been looking at purchasing from Night Owl Lacquer but I didn't know about the brush 🤔
@JenniferDufoe7 ай бұрын
The glisten & glow and Kb shimmer replacement brushes fit them. They also sell some on their website but I haven't placed an order directly from them. I've been getting their polishes from pre-order sites. I have a stack of glistening & glow replacement brushes that I use. 😁

I wouldn’t recommend the replacement brushes that Night Owl has on the website. They spread out and lose their shape for some reason.
@JenniferDufoe7 ай бұрын
@@amandaexton1177 I find that to be so strange that they offer a brush with the possibility of fraying. There's a few other companies that use a squared bottle like they do but with a paddle brush, and so far I haven't had any issues with my glisten and glow replacement brush in my night owl bottle 🤷♀️

There are brands that no matter how pretty I won’t buy from due to ml size. 10ml is a deal breaker. NOL is a top 5 brand for me, I wish she would change the brush though since replacement brushes can get wonky.
@JenniferDufoe7 ай бұрын
I have heard that a couple brands have lower MLS because of shipping regulations from other countries, but I feel like their prices shouldn't be so high then. 🤔

Aren’t Mooncat 12ml? But yeah it’s a hard pill to swallow for those Brazilian brands. I don’t get the hype of most of them though i will say everything I’ve ever gotten from Elbe is stunning and i don’t regret spending the money.
