Great one Nobby. Making these videos is not all it seems - it's easy to take for granted the skills involved in putting it together. But it does involve skill and hard work. And this was a great video like all your other videos. I appreciate the work involved and I enjoyed it very much. Thanks Mate👍

Lovely night time footage. I am so confused, you are camped on the East coast but watching the sunset. I'm putting it down to being in a bay, that's the only way my brain will accept it.🤔 Great little shelter, very useful.❤️

Evening Nobby. We all love you talking crap mate, it's what you do best and we enjoy it 👍 😀 . I've just bought a DD super light 3x3 tarp, for the weight it's pretty good at under 500g. I'm hoping I got a good deal for £66. But maybe it's what they normally cost without the black Friday deal I thought I got. Damn, that sunset you had looked cracking and I don't think anyone can ever get bored looking at them. The sausage and onion bap looked like a kebab....lush. I've already subbed to Martins channel btw, he's got an excellent voice and I always like n try to comment. Great video, enjoy the rest of your weekend and see you on your next adventure ✌️ 🤟 😛

Near enough 50 comments in 11 hours….. hardcore following 😎👍!! Loving it mate, being an ex forces bloke I love the possibilities of a non-tactical tarp set up🇬🇧⚔️. Very similar to my Aussie set up🦟🕷nets are fairly essential. Martin’s ‘dreams’ was really good……dunno who that heckler was at the end though…🤔😆. Coin-purse 😆/ ‘the chicken portions’….plucked chicken skin does resemble the old coin purse😵💫😉. On another note, if you get a spare 8mins have a look at Clifton Hicks ‘Death and the lady’ and/ or ‘Boatman song’ on KZbin (‘Traditional style’ nylon strung banjo😯).

Great video. You make me jealous as I can't get out and about due to taking care of my Father. (Alzheimer's.) Penny Stove, Cottle Stove, Trangia Stove. All are great Meths Stoves and all are more than useful. I have used the Penny and Cottle Stoves and think they are great. I now use the Trangia because I have just purchased the David Canterbury M40 Kit.. (Great Kit and it does what I need it to do, which is what is important.)

Respect for looking after your father dude. Its a cruel disease. Meths stoves are great for most situations

just a thought - ref' the windshield on the penny stove. As an aid to stability and secure cooking, any point twisting the ends of the pegs ,one on each peg , into a loop, then pushing a couple of extra tent pegs down through the loops ( one on each side) . That way it could well be less vulnerable to nudges, hurricanes, earthquakes , large ordnance detonations. meteor strikes , d'heads in attendance, or cack handed pan pilots etc ... you know - The usual pitfalls of genteel boutique wild camping. That there Martin covers some of my favourite artists, and does it so damn well .

I like the look of that set up, surprised you do though as it's ground-dwelling. I'm a bit concerned by the torch burning a hole in your pocket...not for the coin purse...but because that is a proper fire hazard, in a pack beside paper or anything flammable like your fuel that could be a very serious accident.
