Hi. Being in Northern Kentucky the incredibly rocky soil keeps me from enjoying low SWR with the magic carpet and a Wolf River Coil 17' whip and Sporty Forty. I need a Tuner because of it. I will take it on the road and operate where there is more wet sandy soil and see how that goes. Love to experiment and the magic carpet is great--no more counterpoise wires. 73

Chris KE6IVK Smokey, here try chicken wire lay it down use some gardening stakes the grass will grow through it and you can mow right over it
