Great tablet for basically everything. kzbin.infoUgkxLNmVocUk8tnSkwWIlYSNFzWRIaFTBuzS I bought it specifically for art, and that 4k screen is really fantastic for it! Also has LOUD audio, even tho the speakers aren't in necessarily prime locations it really projects! You do need to get a case for this bad boy IMMEDIATLY though as it doesn't come with one.Battery life is really good! Standby time us FANTASTIC. This guy can go about a week on standby and be just fine. The screen is massive so the longer you have the screen on, brightness especially, it will effect battery life. I am very happy with it though! One thing that I didn't consider is that since the screen resolution is so high, viewing ticktocks/ reading webtoons can be slightly blurry. There is no way to turn down resolution either, so it just be like that.Would still judge this bad boi at 10/10 for my first tablet. I've had it 3 months now and its not shown any evidence of "slowing down" or anything. Love it!

@@subisooraj6207 This really is a good question. It really comes down to your personal opinion. They both have pros and cons (the never ending andoid Vs apple debate ). Personally I think you get more for your money on the S7 ... But you could argue that an iPad has a longer support and will work for 4-5 years. But if you buy it for school then the S7 is definitely more attractive , because you will get the s pen for free and the keyboard "only" costs 150$. Yeah, but if you like apple then get the apple one. There both nice I think

I personally decided on the s7 because I want a more compact tablet for use at work. A tablet larger than this model would be to cumbersome when holding upright to read or travel with daily. Honestly, I wanted a smaller tablet but didn't care for the older models. So far I am 110% pleased with my decision.

Having seen both in person. The OLED looks way better than LCD. There's no question about it. What's unfortunate is dipshit Samsung making it exclusive to the ridiculously large 12.4" variant. Large tablets are fine when docked. But actually holding and utilizing it is another story.

Simple. The color WHITE is the enemy of OLED panels hence why the battery drains faster. You can use Kiwi Browser which has a native dark mode feature for all websites which helps prolong the battery life of the S7+. Also, I'm guessing that some apps he has installed on the S7+ are draining additional battery in the background.

I'm more concerned about those backlight on regular S7, since I use my tablet before sleep a lot (dark room). But I guess it doesn't really affect much when I lower the brightness? This is actually not a problem of LCD. Its only due to Samsungs bad Android Software. The OSes need to be levelled up by Apple and Google respectively before the rapidly increasing power in mobile processors has any real meaning. I have the s7, and for me, the only drawback to the lcd is screen glare. The benefits are more natural color, better battery life, and less eye strain. My super amoled on my phone makes colors that don't look real or natural to me, and if I look at the screen too long, I see double when I look up. Doesn't happen on my tab s7...

I actually like the higher saturation of the s7. The s7+'s OLED has much better viewing angles. In my opinion, the potential for burn-in makes the s7+ a hard sell, particularly because the quality of the s7's LCD is so nice.

Update for anyone who sees this comment: My Tab S7 did have backlight bleed on the top right and bottom left corners of the backlight (landscape). I exchanged the unit, exactly the same bleeding. If you look at a teardown, the bleeding regions are the areas right beside the screen ribbon, so I consider it actually normal for this tablet. But if you don't care about bleeding, the screen is very good, almost OLED as long as you aren't in pitch black. Just something to think about if you, like me, use dark apps and watch dark movies

Why is nobody ever teling you the truth about the displays? I have Samsung A8 and S6 in front of me. I bought S6 over A8 because I thought I have to have AMOLED. I am terribly disappointed with the AMOLED display of S6. The whites on AMOLED have strong yellow tint and you can't adjust that, it's just the technology disadvantage. AMOLED just can't do pure white color. It's even visible on your video, where you claim that on AMOLED the "white is more natural". No it's not, AMOLED just can't display whie white. Not even single youtuber/reviewer video mentioned that, everyone is raving about "colors popping up" or colors being "vibrant" on AMOLED. Yes, they are "vibrant" in the sense of "unrealistic". Only advantage of AMOLED is the black color is black and white text on black background looks better.

The AMOLED screen has very noticeable burned highlights and slightly more details in blacks, the LCD has much more details in highlights. Taking in account in the AMOLED the PWM (causes eye fatigue and other health issues) and the burned highlights, the LCD is a much better display.

@@lowrezz726 Not sure about that, but people have been using LCD for decades without problem. OLED is newer tech, but has also been out for a very long time, and there are no reported (verified) news on being harmful to the eyes. So they are both equally safe. However, OLED may use PWM which some people can detect and causes eye strain, headaches. PWM is most noticeable when display is dim, eg when using in dark environment, at night.
