സംഘ കാലം 20000 BC മുതൽ ഇന്ന് വരെയും ആണ്, അതിൽ 3 സംഘകാലങ്ങൾ ഉണ്ട്. *ഒന്നാം സംഘകാലം 20000 BC യിൽ തുടങ്ങി. തുടങ്ങിയത് ഈശൻ എന്ന ശിവൻ ന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ. *രണ്ടാം സംഘകാലം 10000 BC യിലും തുടങ്ങി. തുടങ്ങിയത് സെയ്യോൻ എന്ന മുരുഗൻ ന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ. *മൂന്നാം സംഘ കാലം 3500 BC യിൽ തുടങ്ങി. തുടങ്ങിയത് വീട്ടിനെൻ തീരുമാൾ എന്ന വിഷ്‌ണു ന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ. *നാലാം സംഘകാലം 1000 BC യിൽ തുടങ്ങി. തുടങ്ങിയത് മഹാകാളി ഖോശാലർ ന്റെ നേതൃത്വത്തിൽ. *അഞ്ചാം സംഘകാലം 2020 AD യിൽ തുടങ്ങി.

The land as bounded by the Malayadri mountains (western ghats) to the East and the Ocean to the West in which the pious rivers of Payaswini (chandragiri), Mahanadhi (periyar) etc as situated is known as the 'Malayalam country' (i.e malabar) or 'Keralam' and the earliest ruling dynasty of Kerala was titled as 'Keralaputhra/Keralamputhra' since the 3rd century B.C in the historical accounts and the city of 'Mahodayapuram' (i.e thiruvanchikulam) in Thrissur district of Kerala was the capital of the Kerala king and the 'Kerala Kingdom' was assigned into several administrative divisions which were the prime units of social and agrarian organisation as consisting of Venadu, Odanadu, Kuttanadu, Nantuzhanadu, Vempalanadu, Pazhayanadu, Nedumnazhinadu, Kannanadu, Vellayurnadu, Mananadu, Ilamkunnanadu, Munninadu, Kizhmalanadu, Kalkaranadu, Nedumpurayurnadu, Nedumkalanadu, Valluvanadu, Eralanadu, Kurumpuranadu, Ramavalanadu, Purakizhanadu, Kolathunadu etc between 9th century C.E and 12th century C.E.
