This is an LDR. It has two terminals. When light falls on the LDR, then resistance between these two terminals decreases.

We will connect the battery, with l e d, through LDR.
L e d will not glow, unless the light falls on the LDR. L e d will turn off in the absence of light.
A thermistor is a type of resistor, whose resistance is dependent on temperature.
The word is a combination of, thermal, and, resistor.
Thermistors are widely used in temperature sensors.
Thermistors are of two types.
Negative temperature coefficient or NTC type.
Positive temperature coefficient or PTC type.
In NTC thermistors, resistance decreases as temperature rises.
In PTC thermistors, resistance increases as temperature rises.
