Le Boat on the Caledonian Canal Part 2 Onwards to Inverness and back to base with some rough water

We continue through the Staircase Locks at Fort Augustus, spend a night in Urquhart Bay Harbour, spot Nessie the Lock Ness Monster, meet some great people and enjoy a real mix of weather.

The same boat we had the first time we did the Caledonian. I thought she handled very well considering they don't have bow thrusters due to their age. We weren't so lucky with mooring spaces at Fort Augustus as the canal was pretty busy and there were also a lot of yachts underway.

LOL Fil. All maritime rules say KEEP RIGHT. Vessels display a green light on the Starboard side (right) and a red one on the Port side (left). GREEN to GREEN or RED to RED all OK so go ahead. If both lights you see ahead STARBOARD wheel and show your RED. Thanks for watching, cheers Michael

Hello Michael & Mandy, thanks for another interesting video on the boat 🚤 didn’t believe the photo of Nessie it was black and white while the rest was in colour lol 😂 didn’t like your taste in red wines we tried a bottle of Jam Shed I couldn’t finish my class and through the rest of the bottle down the sink cheers al
