Great bit of fun Cranky! I have a couple of 'just my opinion" comments (I lied 3 comments!)... 1: I disagree that we are being priced out of buying ounces of gold ((yet). In the early 1900's our Grandfparents and their families stacked Liberties, and St Gaudens, and Double Eagles all the way up to 1933 and then the smart ones buried it all. In those days an oz of gold was equal to about 1 weeks pay, or 1 month pay, or in the case of the very poor 1 years pay. In todays dollars we are at about the same fiat dollar values for gold except that not even the very poor make less than $2700 a year so technically we are way better off. 2: I do not like Canadian 80% silver. I have never seen a really nice looking piece of circulate canadian silver. IT is dull and the designs are boring imho, & 3: I absolutely LOVE the shiny - AGSTACKERS 10g $20 silver bars are worth every penny of $57/0z. Everyone overspends of what they like and so they SHOULD! Now I stack the most oz's for the least money but I also pay more for what I like (especially after whisky). The naysayers you refer to don't have to buy them if they don't see the value (leaves more for us).
