I felt the same when I 1st saw Matte Navy. Now I think I want to add it. Would look pretty next to my olive, white, and chambray. Right when I said I didn’t need anymore pieces!

I bought the Thyme Dutch oven 5.5qt and love the deep, subtle colour. Very elegant. It’s my first Le Creuset! 😍 I agree with you about pairing it with Rhône. I’m considering getting the Rhône braiser next.

I'm going to sit my shallot saucepan next to my white saucepan or white cassadou or white DO and see if I like the color better (haha). I'm loving the Thyme. What a beautiful color. I'm just at the point now that I have to ask myself "do you NEED another pot? and if you NEED it, where in the heck are you going to put it?" haha!

I just recently received my Thyme pumpkin cocotte and it looks great next to my cream chefs oven. The gold knobs compliment both colors well.

Hello, thank you for the video I am planning to get a sauce pan but can’t decide between the shallot and Chiffon pink. My Le Creuset pots are in Ceries, Meringue and Sea Salt.

Hi Darien! If you would like a soft pastel pink color then shallot is a good one but if you want a bold pink color then the Chiffon pink is a great choice! I hope that helps! The Cerise, meringue and sea salt are lovely colors together!!

I'm thinking they'll wait until next year for a new color, but a Christmas tree shaped baking dish would be fun for Thyme. I'd love to see some more saturated colors come back into the collection. I know the US market is all about neutrals, but I need COLOR in my life. 😊

I love this overview! They definitely released quite a few colors this year, and I do suspect there may be more to come. I kind of suspect a new blue may be coming, since there has always been a heavy emphasis on the different blues. You are really selling me on Matte Navy. I also felt like it looked a bit boring when it came out, but recently I shifted my views of the colors and think it's nice to get colors that complement the other pieces in my collection instead of just focusing on what I think of the color on its own, like you were saying. I also wanted to add that in Europe they don't have the Chef's Oven in Bamboo, but they do have a piece that is the same width as the Chef's Oven, but follows the design of the Round Wide Dutch Oven, so it's basically a smaller version of that. I've seen both of those being called a Risotto Pot here, among other things. If I could upload pictures of it, I'd place it here, but I can't. Haha. Thanks so much for sharing!!!

Hi Daniel, I hoping for another green color, lol, I am all blued out!! LOL!!! The matte navy really grew on me over time and now I would like to add it to my collection just because it would make a great pairing with some of my other colors. I like the round wide dutch oven as well especially if it is in the color Bamboo! I am going to look up what a risotto pot is, it sounds so interesting!

Hi, Karen! So, these are all great! I have a 2.25 qt Saucepan in Matte Navy and it slaps! Matte Navy is a very sophisticated color, and it can match with just about anything. I've had it for a year and a half, and I like it more now than when I originally got it from the Outlet in Mebane in January 2022. I have strongly considered getting this color in a larger vessel. Pinks aren't really my jam, but I think I like them both, equally. Now, let's talk about Thyme. I love it in photos, and Crate & Barrel has it. I just looked at the 2.25 qt Saucepan in Thyme in person. Was not a fan. I chose not to buy it. I think the color is just too muted. Doesn't hit me the way Artichaut and Emerald Green do. So, I'm on the fence about that one. Perhaps in the Chef's Oven, but I didn't like it on the Saucepan. They don't have Thyme on display yet, but the Southpoint store has a couple of Saucepans in the back.

Thank you for sharing about the Matte navy color. when I first saw it I did not think much about it (I know it was because it was another LC blue) but overtime, I started to see that it would work with most any of the other colors and still hold it's own. I definitely want to get it in a larger pot, maybe another chef's oven or the round wide dutch. I like the thyme, it is a lovely color just I am not sure it would compliment any of the other colors that I have due to the fact that it is such a dark green. and I agree, in the pictures it is darker than artichaut. I think it's a lovely color but I will likely sit this color out and wait for a brighter green to come along....hopefully sooner rather than later, lol

@karenandmaya8329 LOL! You definitely have to see how it moves you. I've seen Shallot in person, and I think it looks nice. But, this was months ago when it was new and in stores, and Chiffon Pink was heading into temporary retirement. I saw a different piece in Artichaut and instantly fell in love with it; a 3 qt Oval Baker that I don't know what I'll do with, but it was in this color and on sale at the Outlet. Couldn't pass it up. But, Thyme? I just don't know about it. Seeing it in person really changed my outlook, because I do want to like this color. I just don't know about it on the Saucepan. I am looking forward to stores getting more inventory to display, because I am hopeful it'll hit harder on the Cassadou and Chef's Oven. I just saw tonight that the Chef's Oven in Thyme is very popular, on the Le Creuset site. They quoted only have 4 left in this color. I just can't wait until the stores get it.

@@derrickcarpenter5705 I am thinking thyme and I will have to like each other from a distance....I like it but I think I like it for everyone else but me, lol! I'll wait for a lighter green! the color shallot was just a bit to light, pretty but just too light but good if someone is looking for a simple complimentary color. The chef's oven in thyme is lovely with that gold knob though!!! LOL
