Le Male original and Parfum are my go-to JPG frags. I figured Navy would lack. Have you tried Joop Homme Sport?

@@robes08 Mint is pretty good in it. I do remember though that you are very sensitive to lavender. It isn't in the notes but it feels like it has lavender and it's synthetic. It'll come out later in the fragrance though...opening is where this fragrance slams.

I own it (never really worn it, except to smell it) I can agree about a fresh ErosIsh, it’s fresh, but « flat clean scent » , not a screechy or odd smell, just « flat » , but Eros will be appropriate for dating /night scent, this one scream like a very nice deluxe toothpaste, but everyone knows that toothpaste is boring 😅

I personally like In the Navy, a marine-refreshing Le Male but to heads up the Mint you find different is because they used Spearmint or Peppermint rather than regular mint. It's not the greatest flanker but a fine collector's summer edition. Though, I wish they bring back Le Male Terrible.

@robes08 lol and I own all three bottles so I did like them at one stage but lately for some reason I can't stand Sweet syrupy fragrances , into more fresh and woody ones. also I'm in Australia, it's warm the majority of the year , so it's very hard to pull those three off unless it's a cold winter night

I think this one really hadn't been getting a lot of attention, and the way that it comes across to you is pretty much why. As you said, "This is a moneygrab." That's pretty much why I've focused on more niche stuff over the past 1.5 - 2 years because the designer profiles of these frags kind of run into each other, so your reaction here for "In the Navy" happens more often than not for me. Still, as always, you nose and perspectives give the best honesty and tell people what to expect without sugar coating or hype. Thanks for the video, Marc, and take care, bud. A bientot. 😊
