This was a very popular book bag when I was in college in the US. I remember seeing them in a duty free store at the airport years later and getting to inspect them up close. They were really nice.

I’ve had the Le Pliage Neo in Navy for 7 years now. Amazing bag, carries so much and is so light weight. My favourite favourite bag.

I have been using these L pliages for 20 years now (3 of them). They're really amazing, good quality, quite water resistant, classy and versatile (beach, work, travel, everything really !). Their major flaws are the black inside, not really easy to find something in the bottom of it, the lack of real closing pockets and the fact that you can absolutely not wash them in the washing machine, which would be ok for any other bag but these are so useful that they get more exposed to accidents ...

I have the Le Pliage shoulder tote (small) and it's fantastic, especially for city commuting. Unfortunately, the corners in my bag are fraying. The biggest win with this bag is that it's lightweight.

I just bought a grey one in Paris. Grey with grey leather, love the color. Can't wait to use it.

I actually have the same bag. My husband purchased it for me a year ago. I rotate between this bag and another purse to use in regular rotation. I will say I am seeing the same wear on the bottom four corners of my bag, as you mentioned. I’m not rough on the bag so I was surprised to see this wear after one year. That said, it’s a very nice bag and I am really enjoying it.

Are these a thing again? They were very popular when I was in school and college (late naughties, early 2010s) and I never stopped using them because they're classic but seeing very few people with them. So, very sustainable, I guess. 😂 The L is a small travel bag (weekend) or hand luggage for me, the M my everyday bag size.

Perhaps have leather corners sewed on the bag by a tailor or cobbler.

Right now I only own an extra small lepliage in canvas and I haven’t seen any holes or real problems. but once made a whole to a Michael kors Greyson ( a dupe for the LV speedy 25) well used it a lot but carried my iPad in it often and I think that’s what made the whole to the bottom of my bag. I think those lepliage bags while they fit computers and iPads I believe they aren’t made for our big electronic devices, those should be carried separately. I believe the corners of our electronic devices is what break the bottoms of our bags.

I’m in my 40s and I’ve had one since my late teens. I’m only on my fourth one, last about decade each and best thing ever for travel. Cheaper to purchase in France or Switzerland than abroad.
