Je n'ai jamais vu le Tour de France mais apres avoir vu ce chit-chat je veux regarder la course a la tele ou en ligne pour voir le beau paysage des regions differentes de la France. Ca sera mes vacances d'ete. Merci!

I have been watching the TdF every day. For years!! It all started with Lance Armstrong. My daughter Beth and her husband Peter just spent 4 days 3 nights in Paris for their wedding anniversary. They are off to camp in the Pyrenees. Yesterday as they were travelling they came upon a village that the riders would come through. They spent hours waiting for a brief glimpse at the riders. She said it was worth every minute every hour. She sent me the video and you really get the perspective of how FAST they are going and the distances between riders.

This was great! Thank you SO much. I just watched the Netflix second seaon about it last night and wondered what coureurs cyclistes meant. I learned a bunch of new words and phrases by listening to this. AND I'm still learning new phrases and words from your Short Stories book.

Je suis fan de cyclisme et je regarde le Tour de France chaque année. Mais, à mon avis, la Vuelta cette année était plus passionnante que le Tour de France. Je ne peux pas imaginer comment les cyclistes pouvaient parcourir 3 000 km dans les années trente. Mon cycliste préféré est Rafał Majka. J'apprécie également Tony Martin, Pello Bilbao, Miguel Indurain et Johan Museeuw.

Je ne regarde plus le Tour. Quand j'étais enfant, je le regardais avec mon père, mais il a également arrêté de regarder la tournée à cause du dopage. Lorsque la tournée a traversé la ville où je vis, j'y suis bien sûr allée. Cela s'est terminé très vite, mais ensuite il y a eu une fête de village où le Tour a été diffusé sur grand écran.

Je ne regarde pas le Tour de France mais je l'aime bien. Malgré le fait que je suis américain j'ai vraiment honte de Lance Armstrong et ses scandales. Vive le Tour de France 2024!

Je pense que Lance Armstrong c'est celui qui a servi d'exemple parce que beaucoup de coureurs étaient dopés :)
