Nice video, The mysterious house on YBI, (Yerba Buena Island) belongs to the US Coast Guard. It was at one time used as the home of the admiral of the 12th US Coast Guard District.

Grace and peace, brother... So enjoyed your Hawaii to California video... not to mention your Peep Hen video. I just sold mine a couple of years ago. Awesome little 'yacht'. From your choice of music, I'm 'out on a limb' here, but it suggests at the least, a preoccupation with the Lord Jesus. :) Guessing it's more, and I pray that it is. Makes sharing your experiences all the more vicarious. I did scroll through a number of comments posted to you, and thought... meh, if it was me, I'd be wanting to know about the 'moments' you enjoyed in such splendid isolation with the Master. ... a bit of an oxymoron, to be sure, Not even sure if this will find you... but if it does, in fact... and you do know Him... what stand-out 'take-aways' did you glean while enjoying the splendor of His handiwork? Inquiring minds... well, are always inquiring, I suppose. I've enjoyed the company of His Presence for 41+ years to date... with eternity spread out ahead of me. I've had some privileged moments of grace on a few continents during that time as well. And even a few precious seasons on a Peep Hen... sailing is a wondrous experience, truly. A passage into time itself. Well, all that said, whether I hear from you or not, be well. Be blessed as you are and remain in Him. Thanks again for the beautiful 'glimpses' of your world. Hey I know you posted this 7+ years ago, so not sure you'll see this, but I just bought the twin to your boat, great little boat. I'm up north of Seattle and hope to sail my Peep Hen in the San Juan Islands a bit. Looks like you didn't hesitate to take it out on SF Bay (where I learned to sail). Did it handle wind and waves okay? Anyway thanks for the video, keep sailing, and I also loved the awesome music, btw. :-)

Robert - congrats on getting your Peep Hen. They are great little boats - perfect pocket cruisers. For wind and waves I found the ability to trim sail and reef down quite important. Learning how to depower a gaff rig helped handle wind and waves very well. Google “Shemaya Peep Hen” for some great info on this topic.

thanks Nat! The hammock nicely fits below the boom - hangs off the boom, while the boom is supported by the gallows
