Lea Fan. If you didn't know they also took another pic last night. After Alex Won and they were both in their costumes getting ready to perform on last night show. It's time to stop the Lea hate. She was a "B" to everyone not just Black people. I understand if the people on Glee don't want to be friends with her, but it doesn't mean she had to have people crapping on her for the rest of her career. That was Alex's well-deserved win and that is all we need to know.

Lea was there to perform and enjoy the show, cheering everyone on, and people are still dumping on her. Notice, there has been NOTHING coming from her current co-stars about her being a diva or difficult. No one is rushing to leave the table to get away from her. I mean, when? When does it end?

It’s Broadway. It’s really hard to even be on Broadway. They’re not going to hate on Lea because they have worked to get on that stage since they were kids. To be on the broadway stage in Manhattan is a huge accomplishment. Why would they ruin it. There is no excuse for her behavior! She hasn’t apologized for her behavior. Which is unacceptable! She has a huge ego! And if she was nominated for a tony you would see it even more. The fact that Alex Newell didn’t even acknowledge her says a-lot!!

Both these people are very very talented . I feel strongly that if Lea had been originally cast in Funny Girl she would have been nominated too. Maybe Lea has learned from her poor past behavior and was truly happy for Alex? People can change. If Lea hadn’t reacted positively then people would be taking about that. There’s room for both these talented performers to succeed.

Lea wins again. An article that should have focused on celebrating Alexs' talent and accomplishment instead focused on someone else - pointing out vague flaws that are over a decade old. It is not healthy to hold such animosity towards someone who has outgrown her childhood flaws. Let your hate go, try yoga, see a therapist, try to find peace.

I’m sure when Alex said “I’ve wanted this my whole life,” they also dreamt that the news coverage of their historic win would be all about making jabs at Lea Michele 🙃- like really….I’ve seen Shucked and was massively impressed by Alex and think this is so disrespectful to them. Plus I think it’s very possible for people to repent, acknowledge mistakes and change their hearts… esp when becoming a parent…so maybe let’s give Lea a break for a mistake many years ago and focus on Alex’s moment. Sorry I do like ur news and entertainment reporting but this makes me lose a lil respect for u.
@GraemeONeil

If you noticed, the story started off with Alex's historic victory, and then mentioned J. Harrison Ghee's historic victory. I then moved on to explain why viewers were taking such note of Alex walking by Lea Michele. It wasn't a fluke that it was done in that order.

Lea Michele has apologized for her past behavior. And knowing the reputation she got for that, if there was even a hint of bad behavior on her part at Funny Girl, it would be reported on. So trying to create a story of current animosity bet. Newell & Michele in 2023 is tacky.

I'm so over the internet's hatred for Lea. She made mistakes and acted poorly during her youth. Didn't we all? I don't think she deserves to be criticized and hated for one period of her life for the remainder of her life. People are capable of change. She deserved to be called out, but that was years ago, and since then, she's never said or done anything problematic. When does it end? Furthermore, why make Alex's win all about Lea? Alex won, and Lea was clapping for her along with everyone else. She wasn't trying to "make sure everyone saw her clapping."Focusing on Lea instead of Alex is being part of the problem.

You should put that energy into something else truly do you really think Lea Michele is gonna look at your comment and be like thank God for Gretchen out supporting me the way she has treated her costars is ridiculous and her behavior also sets a standard and culture that it’s all right for people to behave this way into work space because of their reputation. Absolutely not, and I’m glad she was called out.

I love this video. Let's not forget who Lea Michele is! As much as they try to erase the past, never forget how badly she treated people she worked with.
