Warm roof or cold roof? Or hybrid insulation above and in between??
@markworthington38932 жыл бұрын
Nice work but the question has to be asked ,why are you replacing the lead with single ply if it’s not leaking?? My only thought is that the room is cold 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
@ytaccountusername2 жыл бұрын
well you cant re-lay the lead you pull off. Single ply is simply a cheaper alternative
@markworthington38932 жыл бұрын
@@ytaccountusername yeah I get that single ply is the most cost effective option, but my question still remains why go looking if it’s not leaking 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️

Could you not see the plywood was rotten. Why leave it until the the roof collapses? Because then it will cost even more to replace. I think your missing the point. Lead won't work on this type of roof.
@markworthington38932 жыл бұрын
@@roofingshiteroofing1189 I’m not saying that the plywood doesn’t need replacing that’s obvious , but as you said on a number of occasions that it wasn’t leaking. So what made you look!! As I said cold room or possibly a slipped slate.

Jesus do you ever get a straight forward job🙈 I have it in my work all the time and it's getting worse There is going to be loads of work rectifying bad workmanship where the problems don't show up years down the line. Mixing and matching new building designs into old buildings is a big problem especially with airflow and all the insulation required these days. Best of luck 👍

I don’t understand how you can be calling out terrible workmanship, but your scaffolding isn’t done to regulation safety standards for the UK, the main issues being single hand rail, no toe boards & not tied into the building. At one point in the video I thought the scaffolding was going to collapse, the way it swayed side to side so violently. Health & safety is number one priority in construction, then good building practice. It’s hard to have good building practice without proper health & safety measures in place. Beside your sun standard scaffolding good education video.

Spot on Frankie . safety first. I wouldnt send my lads up that scaffold.the blokes in this video cant lecture us when they are endangering them selves and people around the work area below .....jesus master roofers...don't think so. self praising is no recommendation
