Looks like a good product. Shooting your gun while holding the block seems questionable, though. Miniscule radiation doses, I imagine, but why risk it.

The video nor any of the documentation address the issue of buried Lead. Does the unit penetrate all paint layers down to the substrate to properly identify the Lead content of the entire paint latice structure?

Why is the video turned off at 2:37 to use the Geiger counter on the other unit? Can't see what is actually being tested...

Thanks for your question. It’s a good one. We initially included the visual, then thought better of it. We simply made the decision not to show the competitor’s isotope based analyzer. It's a litigious world. We left the actual audio in the background because it reminds us it’s there when you’re not testing. As you likely know, all XRF analyzers emit x-ray radiation when actually testing. The difference is when ours isn’t testing there is no radiation. Not to mention it's highly accurate, rugged, fast, and pretty easy to carry around all day.
