Put the tube from the oil extraction pump into the dipstick tube to remove all the oil. It reaches the lowest point of the oil pan. Nice job getting Sid to help you out.

If you fit an fuel bulb from an outboard fuel tank in line before the filter you can prime all your fuel filters very easy .

suck the oil out rather than drain it. You can buy vacuum pumps with containers attached.

Don't wire your fridge directly to the batteries thats asking for trouble. Run bigger wires to your distribution panel or bus bar if you have to.

Yeah we did exactly that. We just wired it with thicker cables to the back of the 12 volt on the control panel
