The Thorn is one of my favourite razors. I use it for headshaves and I always get bbs with a perma sharp or a nacet. Great videos 👍

I’m getting the Twig this week in the mail. I had the Thorn, loved the design and ability to get into tight spots like under the nose, but it was just too aggressive for me so I sold it. Looking forward to getting the Twig….

I also had better shaves from the twig than the thorn and I have a really coarse beard. The twig with a feather blade is really great. Currently tried a Nacet in the thorn and my face didn’t like it so I am now trying the Nacet in the twig.

Hey Dave, you should try using a feather in the Thorn like you did in the Twig, that's most likely why the shave was too mild.

I bought the thorn razor since twig was not available at some time. Light head with a slight (0.2 mm) positive blade exposure. Not so smooth with feather blades! After a bit of trying I think I’ve found what works with this razor. A medium to sharp blade. A Gillette silver blue works the best for me.

I have the thorn, and use the astra platinum. I have tried the feather blade in it as well as the treet platinum, and facon platinum. Astra is still my fav in the thorn.

I'm a Nacet in 95% of my razors. The Leaf Twig I use Feather blades. Have not tried the Thorn. Haven't needed to since going to the Feather.

I need something single edge with small footprint for nose area, sideburn, neck quick lining every day - I always shave against the grain, just dry fast quick, hair is not coarse or dense, only neck is tougher usually I am torn between the Twig and Thorn - if they deliver the same results on the face, how about down south? for pubic or armpits, will the torn be more dangerous perhaps with 0.2mm?

@Ohio Shaves Got the twig, and you were right 100% The thorn would've been too much. I cut myself a little with the twig (leaf blade) - but probably because idk how to use it yet or the blade is too sharp in the beginning idk But the design is amazing for what I need - lining up cheeks/neck/under nose - instead of having to get straight razor I probably will need to get a bit duller blades, generally I find blades become good after 2-3 shaves, at that point they stop cutting me, but pull hair more - I watched your video on razor blades, but idk what to get yet...seems like astra is less sharp out of the box?

I don’t care for the leaf blades either. Buy a simple pack of several different de blades. This way have have different options. I have links below everyone of my videos.

Hey! Just got my Twig razor in the mail along with a razor blade Sampler pack purchased on Amazon. It includes Astra green, Gillette platinum, Loi titanium, Sharp, Shark, Derby, Feather, and Voskhod. All blades are individually wrapped but the Astra green, Gillette platinum, and shark boxes were not individually wrapped and the flaps on the Gillette platinum box were even opened. Can I trust the quality and sterility of these blades?

Thanks for sharing! I would assume so if it's from a reputable seller. Boxes generally hold 5 to 10 blades. They should repackage the way they're shipping them out. I've been wiping everything down with hand sanitizer. I would suggest doing the same. Let me know how you like the twig

@@OhioShaves I received some Ming Shi blades with a Min Shi adjustable razor (copy of Merkur Future). Forget about the razor. But the Ming Shi blades just blew my mind. So smooth and so easy on your facial skin. Mine is very sensitive. I used this blade in my Twig razor. I haven't tried Thorn yet. Yes Ming Shi has certainly become my most favorite blade.

For a single edge blade the design does quite well. Still working with this razor. I haven't found the right blade combination yet. I think the twig is much easier.

Ok I just bought the three blade leaf razor bundle. I’m a lady and just want to shave my legs and pits and lady bits…. Did I buy the wrong one? Should I have purchased a twig or thorn instead? 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

My wife uses both. After she loved and got used loading the 3 blade leaf. She tried the twig out of curiosity and will not let me have it back 🤣. Both are great razors. The twig is a little smoother on her legs. A lot of her friends have purchased the 3 bladed just because there’s no learning curve and they love it. The twig scares most of them and they won’t even try it. Hope this helps

There's a guy subie shaves on youtube. He did half a head shave with twig and half with thorn. But he does something unique, he double stacks the blades in the razor. He got a good bit quicker and smoother headshave with the thorn. But for me, ive sensitive skin, so might just get the twig.

The torn is way more efficient is definitely more aggressive than the twig. I myself have to go for the twig. The torn due to aggressiveness was giving me irritation. IMO so you just gotta find out what’s good for your skin. Try a feather blade in it maybe you can’t see much of a difference cause it seems by ur vids u like aggressive razors. 🤷🏽‍♂️
