Marner is an elite PK and playmaker. Unfortunately they signed 1 year Willy no defence and they need to pick between the 2 non physical wingers. I'd have kept Marner and traded Nylander but the leafs hand out NTC like candy. Can't have both these guys so leafs gotta make a move soon!

@@helloimshawn Sports marketing 101. Established teams gear their marketing to the future fans. There are hundreds of thousands of older Leaf fans that are established. If you watch closely, all their marketing effort goes towards the young fans, establishing their allegiance many years in advance.

Marner famed if he does and damed if he don’t playoff success is not down to one player, Crosby, Ovie even TGO didn’t win a cup single handed, Auston doesn’t get his 69 goals if Marneris not feeding him some of his passes, for me out of the core 4, I’d prefer JT to be sacrificed, as a Captain he’s not vocal enough he needs to inspire or lead them to playoff success, idk about this season, its first obviously under new coach, Stolartz has good numbers and everybody knows u need reliable goaltending & D in the playoffs do the Leafs have that with the ex Panthers net minder and is Tanev & OEL enough I would of loved if the Leafs got Pesce as well but typical the ex Leafs coach nabbed him 🙄 bloody salary cap 😤
