Hpd would of laughed him out the station if a citizen came in asking them to do a sting for their stolen property.
@danielebrparish42716 ай бұрын
Police will help anyone who makes it easy to help them. The victim had the title and registration with the serial number and discrtiption on it to prove it was his. Normally they would have to find the trailer, record the serial number, listen to a story from the thief then contact the victim for the papers. Once the thief knows the police are looking he gets someone he knows to take the trailer to another state. Here no search warrants needed, no undercover sting needed and all of that takes days to put in place. Days that patrol officers use to police the streets and neighborhoods. This victim set it all up so all they had to do is arrest the thief and haul him away.
@therealmshine6 ай бұрын
@danielebrparish4271 Dude just stfu your either le or a delusional boot licker while you wrote all that drivel you could have easily used the same internet you have to find countless stories of not just people across the country in big cities but ppl here in Houston mine included that had all the info this dude had and more to make it "easy" as pie for you officer to make an arrest and they still don't go get the perp! Hence, why theft and property crime is so bad these days ppl have to paint their catalytic converters because in Houston crime pays since hpd doesn't take theft investigation seriously!.
@TacticalTerry6 ай бұрын
Same. I haven't had any luck with getting police help with a stolen item. In this case, a Houston UPS distribution center conveniently found a well-wrapped package as an "empty box", threw away every clue and every piece of evidence the same day, and then sandbagged every route of investigation for me until it was impossible to move forward. Police wouldn't lift a finger without getting the info that UPS withheld.

No dude your not different your saving grace was you being in League city (small town) and NOT HOUSTON! Hpd would of laughed him out the station if a citizen came in asking them to do a sting for their stolen property. They'd say take it up wth insurance and give you a stupid piece of paper wth case # for insurance purposes to verify you reported it and that been the end of that "case" investigation the moment you walked out. Seen people with vid cams and license plate numbers of ppl committing crime in this city and police do nothing about it unless your dead or caught in the act or well connected good luck trying to get hpd to be PROACTIVE about any property crime you report!
