if someone ints me in soloq then adds me after the game and asks me what they can do better the last thing I am doing is giving them insightful advice. I am a part of the problem.
@AcesX136 ай бұрын
The sad thing is, even when complimenting or saying "dont go solo in, if im here we can 2v5, i'll enable you!" All they read is "Dont go solo in" and tell you to f*** off. Or dont accept friendrequests after games because that's typically easy Toxicity you can avoid. When it comes to league players i think a lot obviously dont want to be flamed, but they already established on their own that anyone but their friends will be some sorta toxic, so the less they interact with people or get messaged by people, the better.

toxicity should be nothing more than a phase. i started with good mental, but then i started to care about rank and became toxic. then i started to realize that rank is quite meaningless and chilled out again. now i quietly get annoyed without flaming, but overall its just not worth being a piece of shit over.

i had a game i played recently where i was playing literally perfectly. perfect jungle clears, obj control, etc. i accidentally misclicked and messed up my engage for my first mistake of the entire game. i enabled chat to say "oops, misclick", and my ahri mid sat there and called me a mutt for like 7 sentences straight. i muted her, but forgot i had chat on, then my support said "do u even play wukong? you should have used your abilities this way", and they backseated my gameplay as if they had any understanding of how my champ functions. that shit is so toxic. every league player needs their tongue cut out. i'm never going to enable chat again, even to say "mb"

Yep. When someone is looking for toxicity, all they are going to perceive is toxicity, almost regardless of whether it actually was or not.

If 1/5 players is toxic, that's enough to land you one in every game. Even if we say 1/10 (and I think that's generous), that's still every other game. It's quite taxing in the long run.

@@AberrantDemon 1. well that actually checks out cause league players were way more respectable to each other back in the days(me saying as someone who used to love to honor the great opponents) but now a days.... 2.alsomaybe its a region difference, cuz all i got from these situations is a whole lot of harassment and 1v1 requests, when it was me who wanted to help xd

yea no this has never happened, if you ever get a friend request from an enemy in a soloq game its always just for them to tell you to jump off a bridge. If you do ANYTHING that someone else doesent like he will flame you even if hes wrong, there is no asking for their opinion cuz they will just insult you.
@RocoPwnage6 ай бұрын
This has happened to me multiple times. One of us has to be lying. 90% of my friends list is people from soloq that added me after the game to talk. Maybe if no one's adding you, it's a sign you're unpleasant to play with.
@joey-desu6 ай бұрын
@@RocoPwnage Multiple people have added me after a game and every single one of them was to tell me to off myself. I must be really unpleasent to play with, hence why i havent gotten banned a SINGLE time for my toxcicity. Maybe smurf Q is just much more toxic than the average ranked game but to deny that league is toxic is just straight up wrong.
@AberrantDemon6 ай бұрын
I fully understand how you can have that perspective. I have gotten many of those types of toxic friend requests as well. It goes back to what I said in the video about negative people being more expressive. If you don't look to interact with positive members, it's hard to notice them. If you send the friend request to somebody that you lost lane to or to a teammate that you won a game with, it's a lot less likely that they will say really harsh things to you compared to receiving a request from your teammate after a loss.

the problem is there is a significant minority of people that play solo queue that are completely removed from reality and genuinely bad people. I feel more strongly about that after popping into random twitch channels and realizing how many of these people are bigots and/or have the emotional maturity of a 15 year old. These people are just bad and I honestly dont blame people who mute all.

Yeah, I am really new to the league scene (I had no interest until I met my bf), and I've noticed that a lot of grown men talk as if they have never grown past being 15 in the early 2010s, it's like that era of toxic overly edgy gaming culture is trapped in them like a time capsule.

Yeah.. No. League is toxic af. If you've ever been above gold you must know it. Even picking off meta champion results in trolls running it down in high elo. So yeah.. Maybe in lower elo it is truth, since nobody really knows what's going on, however in higher ranks people are simply assholes that know everything the best.
