Nilah: From the distant lands of Kathkan (an India-inspired place) , Nilah used to be a timid bookworm enamoured by old myths but after an encounter with an ancient order she changed drastically. After ten years a new person emerged: she can't feel anything but happiness, holding the power of the demon of Joy, she now slay monsters and evil things like the heroes she read about. Milo: a promising young kid from Ixtal (think magical Aztec empire) can use his fire magic to heal people, prefering doing things his way over the long magical tradition of his country. His grandma might want to do a coup? Briar: created with the use of blood magic, she was supposed to be an assassination tool to be used against one of Noxus rulers. Didn't work and she got arrested. Now she's free (and ready to snack). K'sante: from the very south of Shurima (magical Egypt/Africa in general). A really talented hunter fighting really big creatures, as he said a bit too prideful which his why his boyfriend left him. Maybe he learned his lesson now. Naafiri: A darkin (in short, godlikes warriors from Shurima that were entrapped in weapons after they became evil warlords) that has been picked up by multiple wolves in the accident shown in the cinematic. Now her conscience is split in an entire pack of animals. She was bummed about it at first as being an animal is kinda beneath her former goddess form, but living as a pack she learned the concept of teamship. Maybe the darkins can stop fighting eachother and be evil together!

Nilah is someone who made a deal with one of the original 10 demons(which includes Fiddlesticks the lord of fear the lord of Joy whose name I keep forgetting and possibly whatever demon is following Hwei around) in order to become some kind of famous warrior but with the catch being that everyone would forget her real name

When Briar gets enough blood she can break out and go into a feeding frenzy, but she chooses to stay essentially chained up because it supresses those urges and gives her humanity and she likes being human. She was created by the blood mages as a weapon but she was too wild to tame/control, shes kinda like a vampire but shes not.

Naafiri is a Dharkin a corrupted "god warrior" that had their soul imprisoned in a weapon and as a result the weapon became a parasite that overwrote anyone who was unlucky enough to touch it... and now we know what happens when multiple beings grab a Dharkin weapon at the same time... body horror happens

Naafiri's Trailer goes actually really deep with some visual themes. You were right that she is like Aatrox were she is the blade. I would suggest watching Necrits analysis of that trailer because of deep it goes. For Nilah her story is pretty interesting. She was a girl who comes from a culture where they are obsessed with the idea to be remembered after you are gone. As long as possible. So she is in a pact with or dominated (not sure right now) the prime demon of joy. She had to give up her previous name and can only feel joy now but in return she has the power to fight all of these giant monsters and stuff to become a legendary hero.

Most likely made a pact with, the Demon of Joy is one of the Ten Kings (like fiddlesticks whom revolve around a core emotion) and its very unlikely any mortal can Dominate them, after all it is stated she can never feel any emotion but joy now. There’s also a weird issue of her original name and evidence disappearing from everything. She resurfaced ten years after and chose the new name Nilah. My guess is that she made a deal and gave Ashlesh her identity for power, could be a spirited away type scenario. We hear very little about normal people dominating demons, nonetheless a Ten Kings. There’s also the very notable costs of her emotions and her previous identity, something that doesn’t seem to happen to others like Swain or Annie or Evelyn who all dominated or have bound themselves to other demons while seeing almost no drawbacks (that we know of).

there are references to other cultures and beliefs in leagues world, but thats about it, nilah doesnt have too much of a reference to anything outside of league worldbuilding, but she is basically using this demon which makes her only ever feel joy as a weapon, which is how she can manipulate water and she uses it to go and hunt powerful beings

Fun fact about the first character, Nilah, is that she is very powerful because she borrowing (or cursed idk) power of a demon named Ashlesh. Ashlesh is one of ten primordial demons (the other one we know about is Fiddlesticks) which makes them much more powerful than most other demons and characters in general. Ashlesh is also the demon of joy and Nilah is cursed with only ever being able to feel joy for borrowing Ashlesh’s power.

Funny how you say Milio feels like he belongs in Encanto. Apparently, when he was being designed, the creators took a lot of inspiration from Antonio in Encanto, which had just come out. Also if you want more lore for characters, I would suggest checking out Legends of Runeterra, which has a lot of interactions between other characters and does a lot to showcase the lore of Runeterra, the world of League of Legends.

Great reaction! I only started getting into LoL because of Arcane, always interesting to see story content from the actual game. And they’ve got such talented teams of graphic artists and animators, these trailers are always so stylish. Off topic but I found a channel who’s content is perfect for y’all. This guy Rusty. (period included) makes silly lists like “Ranking all the food in Elden Ring from worst to best” or “Ranking the Elden Ring bosses by how well I think they play Chess,” and does a joke about every sentence. Similar energy to Maxxor but without the completely schizophrenic editing. But yeah, mostly Elden Ring content. I’m always pushing the Elden Ring content, I love seeing y’all discuss it.

Naafiri is a being in a dagger like Aatrox they are called Darking, she was an ascended that was corrupted by the void and turned evil/crazy (whatever). Yes they where trapped in weapons for millenia so they are pissed (i don't remember who did it tho if it was even said). Now she was found, unlucky for whoever found it as he was probably going to be devoured by her but a pack of hyenas did the job faster and the hyenas where devoured by the will of the dagger (naafiri) and now she controls the pack, as she said: alone i starve but together we feast!

You guys should Definitely do a series reacting to every skin of every champion and rate them from 1 to 5 or from 1 to 10 taking into account several criteria such as style, colors, design idk, and then choose your favorite one of each champ. It would definitely be a very cool series in this chanel! I can tell you guys will find some interesting and beautifull ones, hope you consider make it, and it may looks like A LOT, but there are many champs that only has 1 or 3 skins, so that will not be THAT LONG, and you can make it in alphabetical order so You can separate the videos "From this letter to that letter". Love your videos and i will Definetely see those videos... or Not Definitive... who knows? haha but please think about this idea :) And if You guys consider to making it, I highly recommend to download the game (just for the skins, not to play), cause even in the official page, they don't show ALL the available skins or the newest ones, while in the client they even show trailers for the skins so, GIVE IT A TRY!... Waiting for the next episode of Edgerunners... Love Your videos!

I think with all the league reactions that you have done it would be interesting to react to dota's trailers, since it's the closes thing league has to competition. The trailers are way less because valve isn't very heavy on marketing but they have quite a couple of good ones
