Hi! Nice reaction! Let me talk about a few things you weren’t sure about and might want to know: 1. No, it’s not different universes, it’s just different places/regions. Their whole universe or planet is called Runeterra. And just like Earth, they have different regions like Piltover, Ionia, Shurima, Demacia, Noxus, Freljord etc. Ionia is like Asia, Shurima is like Egypt, Freljord is like Scandinavia etc etc. 2. Arcane, or at least the first season, is based on the lore of Piltover/Zaun. So compared to other regions, Piltover has characters that don’t particularly have ‘innate supernatural’ abilities. What they have is their power harnessed through science, or hextech and chemtech, as discovered in Arcane season 1. Aside from league champs like Jinx, Vi, Caitlyn, Ekko, Singed, Jayce, Viktor and Heimerdinger, some champions from Piltover/Zaun are Urgot, Camille and Ezreal as seen on the cinematic. 3. Vi and Caitlyn are most likely canonically romantically involved at this point. And in canon, yes they do work together. Cait is the Sheriff of Piltover while Vi is an enforcer/warden and the Sheriff’s trusted partner. Also, I’m not sure about this bit but I read somewhere that though Vi is part of Piltover’s police force, she only works directly under Caitlyn and doesn’t really follow any other chain of command. 4. The girl with the blades is called Irelia and she and other league champions of Ionia like Akali, Yasuo, Karma, Kennen etc are defending their land against a Noxian invasion with Sion at the front. 5. The guy Garen was fighting is called Sylas. He was a man imprisoned by the Kingdom of Demacia for years because he had magic. Mages and the use of magic is like a capital crime in Demacia. While Lux and Garen are practically nobles within Demacia and is part of like the imperial army that guards the royal family, what Garen and the others didn’t know was that Lux has very strong magic powers, as shown in the cinematic. She can summon light magic strong enough to call Galio - a statue demacians thought was only built as tribute to a legend. 6. Ruination is like Viego’s agenda to collect all soul fragments of her late wife, Isolde. The soul she took from within Senna is one of the fragments. Other regions are seen fighting the mist, or ruination, as Viego’s journey progresses. Some champs are ‘ruined’ and some champs will band together to fight against it and they were called the ‘sentinels of light’. And yes, you are right! The cinematic sets the whole plan for league like they had ‘Ruined’ skins for the champs affected by the mist and ‘Sentinel’ skins for other champs. This skinline was also released in valorant if i remember correctly. 7. The last cinematic, the call, is set in shurima, mount targon and freljord. Sejuani was the girl riding on a boar and she was fighting against the ‘polar bears’ who are followers of a god called volibear. While the one forging a weapon in the dark is also a god called Ornn. On the other hand in mount targon, the guy with the spear is Atreus or more known as Pantheon. He is like a demi-god but within runeterra they are called the aspects. Pantheon is the aspect of war. The woman she was fighting with is leona, the aspect of the sun. Lastly, the two girls in Shurima is Kai’sa and Taliyah. They are seen to be fighting the Void which is continously spreading in Shurima. Wews that was a long write that i’m not sure y’all will be reading 😂 But again, thanks for the reaction vid! It’s so nice to see fellow filipino’s getting into the universe of league.

a few corrections on 5. Sylas was imprisoned for life because of killing people ... not because he was a mage, through that made things worse for him in the eyes of the Demacians. Garen and Lux, are nobility, they are part of the Noble house of Crownguard ... which has distinguished itself through the years, in service of the Kings direct forces, hence the name .... At the point of the cinematic Garen knows Lux is a mage ... and he had suspected it for a ling time ... through only their parents knew for certain. Galio was build as a protector statue, meant to be brought to the battle field by the army to offer protection from magic, since he is made from the same magic "nullifying" material as Demacias walls, but as battle moved further away from the city he was used less and less until it was forgotten.

@@OntheSidePH Idk if i come late but yea, very nice reaction, i loved your video guys! Tho, when watching league cinematics after watching arcane is very important to think outside the box. What arcane shows, is a very little part of the league world, like around 15% of the actual world (Runeterra). There are a lot of other regions in Runeterra, and every region is very different from other ones, even more from Zaun/Piltover, an actual very small part of the map (You should search the map on the official site of League and do a little reaction about it before watching the next cinematics on the next video). Runeterra (League world) is an amazing world to explore even when you dont play league, but you dont usually want to think about Arcane while looking the rest of the league lore bc you will get confused (Also, even if Arcane characters are very nice and cute to remember, you must remind that there are hundreds of characters that exist in the same world and will never apear in the arcane series. Some of this non-arcane characters are even more relevant or powerfull in Runeterra than any of the actual arcane characters, so thats important to remind too) Also, i recomend to be carefull when watching all the cinematics, bc there are a lot about skin-lanes. (Skins are in other pararel worlds that are non-canon to the original Runeterra lore. There are a lot of this worlds, and they are interesting in their own way) If you get interested in the whole Runeterra world, happy to tell that they probably make other series aside from Arcane, telling the lore of other countries in League world

You guys are so great, and it's fun to see the different perspectives of someone who has partial knowledge of the game versus none. My favorite part is the look he gives the camera at 8:50 when she asks if the game has the same graphics. 😄 The pain of every gamer who wishes the gameplay looked as good as the trailers. I'm sure you've had plenty of people give you recommendations on more cinematics, so I'll just say I'm looking forward to the Runeterra videos and k/da music videos.

I just wanted to point out some things about Ornn and Volibear •Ornn forging a weapon is a declaration of war/preparing for something, thus the cinematic title "The Call". •Most of Ornn's followers were killed long ago when he fought with his brother Volibear(they are both gods), after that he bacame inactive removing himself from the world(He was inactive/stopped forging for over 8000years) So Ornn forging a weapon after being inactive for over a thousand years is really meaningful considering there will be a very big void event happening in LoL. The Call cinematic is very lore based thats why the fans are very happy and excited about what is gonna happen next in-game and to the lore. •The reason why Sejuani(the one with the big boar) and Olaf(the one who throws the axe) is travelling is that they are on their way to Ornn's cauldron which is according to the legend, the one who sips to that cauldron will not be hungry and thirsty for months, considering that they live on a very harsh climate of Frejlord. But the Volibear wants to hide that cauldron because according to him; it will only make humans weak. Thats why the followers of the Volibear was their to stop them. Ornn is the type of God that will help humans whenever they need something, while on the other hand, his brother Volibear wants human to become strong by giving them challenges before granting them some blessings.

@@OntheSidePH The funny thing about volibear is his true form is straight out of nightmare.(He looks like a wendigo in his true form, but much worst) This guy is a demon not a demi- god lol. If you guys would read the lore "silence for the damned" about how dark this demi-god is and his followers- the ursines, this bunch of dudes literally came straight from the deepest of hell. These followers of volibear are human/animal hybrids with parts of their body decaying, some of them are undistinguished animals according to udyr because of how fu*ked up these dudes are and of course volibear too. Volibear's mind controlling ability take over to this guys that the god that they are worshipping take over to their body thats why they turned into this mess. Sejuani almost got fully controlled by the volibear by giving her tribe as an offering.. yes, she will need to give up all her tribe folks as an offering to the volibear. Thankfully she was able to resist it. Thats how dark this demi-god is.

The first of the Ursine slipped out from between the black forest’s trees without a sound-savages, with their skin stained brown by blood. Their hair matted with filth. They were spirit walkers trapped in the form of the unrelenting bear. Men who had forgotten they were men. Then came the monsters. They were strange amalgamations of bears and other creatures, things of legends, dreams, and folklore. Eyes glowing with blue fire, it opened its jaws to reveal a child’s face inside its maw. Then the child opened its own mouth too, spewing a foul brown liquid. Other nightmares followed it from the woods, limping, crawling, and shambling forward.

Ornn is a nice guy who just wants peace while making some weapons and other usefull stuff. He also built bridges for humans to use, what a nice guy right? Another thing about him and the Freljord(an icy region) The mountain ranges at the freljord was scattered that way because of Ornn's doing. According to the legend, Ornn never wanted to fight people, but he sure had it out for trees and icebergs and other natural landscapes (he's so cute >.

Before the show. Jinx and vi being sisters was just a theory. With some clues like Jinx mentioning she had a sister crazier then her. Vi's backstory mentioned she was found in a cradle for two. And got her gloves from hextech mining robots to save miners from an accident. They had never met or really had interactions before arcane

"Why did they choose Vi, Jinx - are they like the main - " There are no 'main' character in League. Jinx is a popular and well known hero. I think a history with Vi was established or hinted at. The Arcane writers just chose to explore that story, beleiving the characters to have story potential. And by god were they right.

The great thing about the lore is that there is barely any "evil" character. Even those who seem the worst have very good intentions and reasons to do what they do. Sejuani - the woman on the boar, raids other tribes for food, she is strict and harsh, but she is even harsher with herself. She readily givs her life for her people and wants her tribe to survive. Lissandra the ice witch seems to be purely evil, enslaving people, lockign them up, stealing dreams and life energy, killing people, makes herself heralded as this figure of light and hope just to have her priests infiltrate, spy on and even abduct people for her. Yet despite her doing a lot of evil shit, she does all that to prevent way worse. She sacrificed her sisters and most of her people to seal a void rift to prvent nothing less than the fdestruction of the world, but the seal is slowly breaking as the beings trapped within the seal of true ice, slowly awaken. She steals peoples dreams to make those creatures, the watchers, fall asleep, she sacrifices to strengthen the seal and her entire existance is focused on keeping the void at bay, for were it ever to break through, it would end the world So she is desperately fighting to buy the entire world a new day each morning...a race against time. And for the existance of the world, she is willing to do whatever she has to, after all, what is a few lives lost to the entire world ending

Some additional bits for The Call that you guys might appreciate: 1. The forging Ram at the beginning is Ornn. He's our daddy. Daddy Ornn is a forge god and is brother to Volibear and Anivia. He only forge weapons when there is a big reason to, which makes this cinematic even more significant as he is shown forging what might be the Infinity Edge, a legendary weapon. 2. Sejuani (the grill riding Bristle, the boar) is leading her pack of Freljordans and they are after Ornn's artifact that supposedly eliminate the people's need for food. They need it for their clan's survival. The "thunder polar bears" fighting them are the Ursine, shaman followers of Daddy Ornn's brother Volibear. Volibear believes that Ornn's artifact will do more harm than good to the people as it will make them depend on it too much and will eventually render people weak. Voli hates weakness. He's more of a 'tough love' kinda god. The viking behind Sejuani is Olaf. He can be seen breaking a huge chunk of falling ice block with just his helmet before hurling his axe towards the Ursine. This is actually correct lore-wise as he is supposed to be so tall, about the same height as Sejuani while riding Bristle. 3. Atreus, officially known as Pantheon (or as we call him, Man-theon) is the "spartan" badass. He is climbing Mt. Targon to reach the portal that leads to the other Aspects. The aspect of war Pantheon took control over Atreus' body and hunted the 'Darkin'. One such darkin was Aatrox whom Pantheon fought and lost, effectively killing the aspect inside Atreus. With his sheer will power to live and fight, Atreus survived and the aspect's power remained inside him. "The god died, the man lived." Atreus despises the aspects, hence why he wants to fight them. The Solari are the soldiers who stopped him from getting to the portal. Atreus' sign of peace is him thrusting his spear on the ground as he doesnt want to fight humans. Epic 300-like fight scene ensued. Notice he only used his hands and shield to prevent him from killing them. The grill descending from the heavens was Leona, a Solari that was taken over by the Aspect of Sun. Hence why Mantheon picked up his spear before fighting her. Bare fists for Humans, Spear for Aspects. 4. Kai'sa is with Taliyah. The village they were in was Taliyah's village, left in ruins by The Void. Kai'sa was trapped in the void ever since she was a little girl and the armour she's wearing are from the void creatures she killed as she fought for her survival and eventual freedom. Big momma Rek'sai is the kaiju-looking beast that came from the ground. Kai'sa knew that the only way to prevent Rek'sai from causing more damage was to lure her back to the void, basically sacrificing her very recent freedom. That is why Taliyah had that expression before Kai'sa jumped. She knew she had to bury Rek'sai along with Kai'sa using her earth-bending powers.

Ok so lesbian speculation aside, Caitlyn and Vi are partners in current LoL lore as Caitlyn is the Sheriff of the Wardens of Piltover. Also in that last video, the Spartan dude (Atreus) is fighting the girl in gold armor (Leona) because despite being the current God of War, he hates the Gods and wants to kill them all (kinda justified since the Gods are often assholes) and that girl is the God of the sun

League's lore goes as far as the creation of the league universe. Actually, Ruination is a milestone in the lore. Fighting Viego was a story in the making for 10 year that only came into a conclusion in 2020(?). I hope you have fun in this world.

I think it was easier to focus on one region, it mightve been too complicated especially for people unfamiliar with the lore to explore all regions on the get go. Better to do so in the following seasons I feel 😁

The pig driver woman in the first scene is called Sejuani she is known as the protector of the north they are trying to stop Volibear for something
