Good gamers will understand any game pretty fast and learn how to play it properly. Also people who have played the same game for a lot of years may grow complacent with time. I’ve noticed it myself with me. Sometimes I just play poorly on a game I know how to play despite me knowing what to actually do.

It's not that Rav is better, per say, than the others in the guild, it is more that they have played so long they do not take every pull seriously, go about their game lackadaisically, and only give MAYBE 50% of their attention. Look at MOST deaths that we see, they are one of a few things, in no order. #1. Game sucks so you fell through the floor/bridge/etc #2. Hyper Spawns #3. "I can make that" #4. Going NPC brainless in raids mechanics #5. AFK anything (walking, riding, standing, etc) That's been the bulk of deaths I have seen, it rarely is "just got outplayed by the game" and usually is straight from mistakes, not enough planning, or just not paying attention. Great lesson to learn, and Rav almost fell to #5.

Make sure you set aside money to buy your new skills every 2 levels. The cost increases, and get expensive. Also make sure to replace old spell ranks with new ones so as to increase your output. It's not automatic.
