"30min" you can click on a green pin and drag them to the closest harbour you want to add while you are watching your trade routes. It will create the shortest route after creating a new stop for your boats ;)

Any thoughts on using coal mines instead of charcoal burner huts. They produce more while also costing more but take up virtually no space.

yes coal mines are way more efficient, as far as i know they also produce twice the amount of coal. i mainly use the charcoal burners huts due to force of habit

Hast du dir die Konstruktionen selbst ausgedacht, wenn ja wie kommt man darauf? Mich hat es schon bei Anno 2205, dass der ganze Platz ausgenutzt wurde.

manche layouts hab ich aus dem wiki oder im multiplayer gesehen, wieder andere, wie zum beispiel das housing layout, sind von mir. ich kann ehrlich gesagt nicht genau sagen wie ich auf sowas komme^^ im grunde genommen ist das ja wie ein puzzle/tetris.

League of Ungentlemanly Warfare stimmt aber ich Sitze manchmal Stunden vorm PC und denke mir es muss doch eine platzsparendere Möglichkeit geben aber ich bin nie darauf gekommenen. Auch wenn ich schon viel Tetris gespielt habe bin ich ratlos gewesen.

ich kenn das gefühl nur zu gut XD aber manchmal hat man dann mal ne zündende idee oder findet inspiration. kleiner tipp: gerade in den teilen vor 1404 hilft es oft swastikas zu bauen. also 4 gebäude um ein markzhaus herum und dann die straßen entsprechend anordnen. ist zwar politisch unkorrekt, aber es löst viele probs. generell hilft es sich darauf zu konzentrieren, 4 betriebe so um ein markthaus anzuordnen, dass man ein quadrat oder zumidnest ein rechteck hat

What is the memory warning message, I get it whenever I play Venice but not the base game, do you do anything special to get rid of it or just restart the game?

Anno 1404 is not optimized for 64bit systems and causes trouble, especially on windows10. 1404 can only occupy the first batch of RAM, which is also used by windows10 for background processes -> Anno1404 does not get enough memory to run properly. There are some solutions on the net but it is dependent on your system, my system for example was immune to any solutiosn so far T_T. Reduce all RAM-related visual details (especialy Texture quality), deactivate auto-save (don't forget to save from time to time manually!) and it shoudl buy you some playtime. the issue is the number of objects on the map, the more there are, the faster Anno runs out of memory. Venice added quite a few and AI-opponents multiplay the object-count.

One butshers shop is 726 nobleman acording the anno wiki. Really bad efiancy just like real life on them huge space is taken to get 10000 nobleman.

Hey, I was wondering if you have tips on how great of a certain group of citizens require what kind of resources? I always have the issue that I create too much which means my tax income is lower for no real reason.

the game actually does not tell you that. in that case i recommend building stuff and regularily check the storage. if it is always full you are producing too much (though that means that you can sell all that stuff which also brings money)
