Although that horrible character select screen seems like it's indeed going to be in the final game. Something I'd like to point out is that the one picture of Bojack clearly says 'DLC' on the bottom of it. Uh oh. Wouldn't be the first time we're gotten a game with on-disc DLC, even if it's only partial data, and they make you pay for it to unlock them later just to squeeze out a few extra bucks.
