This is the first year I've actually been excited about this team since the 2021 season started. Completely agree on moving on from Zach and Vuc regardless of having to attach "assets" (2nd rounders can be bought and that Portland pick isn't going to convey)--play Buzelis a ton of minutes, develop him and the rest of the guys with Giddey, see what we have with Jaylen and lose games. A top 5-6 pick in this draft nets us a foundational piece. We also need to give Patrick more of an offensive role and see what he can really do.

I just think the new CBA rules have too much of an impact now, to where teams don't wanna gamble on paying a lot of money on 1 particular player. Brandon Ingram and Zach Lavine are the 2 stars that are feeling the effect of the new rules. Look at the Nuggets situation, for example. MPJs contract is hurting the overall team, and MPJ is a damn good player, and a big reason for them winning that championship, but it's also making it to where the nuggets have had to give up key role players, and they're still in that 2nd apron 😂

My answer for Zach is 'Y'. Although, Zach may not want to admit it because he is unhappy with Billy Donovan's discipline and over these trade conversations, I believe that, deep down inside himself, he would love an opportunity to run with Josh Giddy, P-Will, and a much improved Koby White at the starting Small Forward (3) Position. There would also be another opportunity to possibly run with Lonzo Ball and Ayo Dosunmu off the bench, not to mention an athletic backup Center like Jalen Smith. In addition, with Matas Buzelis showing great promise as a draft pick/rookie, the Bulls have now transitioned into one of the youngest, most athletic teams in the NBA and I believe that the Bulls are going to sneak up on teams this coming 2024-2025 Season simply with the "Offensive Potential" that they could have with Zach 👍👍!!! Other than the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, and maybe the New York Knicks, there are not really that many good "Defensive" teams in the NBA.

The last time Zach played with a TRUE point was Lonzo Ball. When Ball went down, Zach was averaging nearly 29ppg. I want my scorers scoring. Not trying to play point.

I believe Zach provides the Bulls a security blanket of a goto scorer down the stretch. We need to be careful what we wish for. If play opposing teams such as the Kings I can see Demar going for 35-40 points. So what’s the point of trading away good players just for the sake of “going young”? Why is the draft so important when there are too players in the G League that we don’t hear about? This idea of trading Vooch and Zach just to go younger makes no sense. Let’s try and win games now and stop dreaming to be better in 2-3 years. My understanding is that teams are trying to win now and not later. We can’t prevent major injuries from happening so stop this concept of going young for the sake of stocking up draft picks. This is why GM’s and staff get fired and revenue declines because of tanking for draft picks. Makes no sense!!! Win now and not later!

Letting LaVine go is crazy. Especially now that he can play with a true PG. You need athletes on the wings and LaVine inside out game is good. Vuc is the reason for the bulls downfall. He's a defensive liability, and he's an overpaid below average stretch 5. He's useless without someone on the floor that can get their on shot. Coby White has improved but he's not a #1 option, he plays below the rim at 6-5 and is a better shooter than in the paint scorer. I think LaVine still has 5-6 years of really good ball in him. Last honestly, the bulls should've moved on from Lonzo Ball. He was a good player and improving, but he's got his money, and he needs to be someone elses project.
