Honestly if they were wanting to do a dinosaur themed chapter and killer, they wouldn’t need to do Jurassic Park. Dinosaurs aren’t something specific to JP, so it seems like they would have a lot more freedom and not be bogged down by licensing if they went with an original dino instead of something from JP. Obviously a JP collaboration would be cool and probably bring in more players, but idk if it would be enough to warrant all the hassle of license when that’s totally not necessary. Sort of reminds me of the Ghost Face situation, was a lot easier to get the mask license than a movie franchise, and opened up a lot of possibilities for them to be creative with the character.

I feel like the earliest time a Jurassic Park collab will come to dbd is june of next year (jp 7 release). They wouldn't release it around the time that a new jp animated show releases because it's a kids show, and definitely not around the time Jurassic Park Survival releases because Universal took down a highly ambitious fan game (Jurassic Park Operations) while they were developing Jurassic Park Survival. All in all, if we ever get a Jurassic Park collab in dbd, it won't be for a while.

Holy shit, and a few months ago I was watching a video that was talking about how a Jurassic world/park crossover would work in DBD, mostly speculating the indoraptor would be the new killer, of course that was just a guess as it was around 6 months ago I think, now of course I'd think the t-rex and indominous rex, possibly indoraptor as well would all be too large to fit in any of the maps, though indoraptor would fit slightly better, I hope this is a real crossover and isn't only for mobile, I would absolutely fall in love with this crossover!

I would assume they would use a Raptor and not a T-Rex. Just.. my opinion there.. IF they where going to do some sort of Jurassic period event stuff / killer stuff. That aside.. Something I had wished back when they brought Terminator to Death Garden - ( a now, defunct game that could have been soo much more but the devs dropped the ball hard.. They thought they could basically do what they did with DBD and be fine.. No they could not. People forget how bad DBD was on release but they did not seem to get the reasons why it survived that time like it did. What happens when you get an ego and try to do something without checking yourself first. ) - that they had also would bring it to DBD somehow. A missed opportunity I feel.

As a huge jurassic park fan, I'm happy that this was confirmed a joke, so I can go back to hope for this lmao, but wishes aside... This thing is confusing me for two reasons. Why the icons clearly use Jurassic series elements, if it's not meant to be related to a Jurassic Park event? Like schmuckles said, they could have easily made a trex design of their own, but they traced that one Jurassic World rex render, and the egg one is clearly inspired by the Indominus egg hatching scene from the first JW movie... so yeah, I'm extremely confused. Also, if those were actually for the dino pass mentioned in the video, why did they got scrapped? I supposed they got scrapped since I'm not finding anything about it online.
