With the ghost slamming doors if meetings go on too long, it sounds like it's the ghost of a poor Station Porter that got trapped in a "This should have been a Telegram" Meeting and passed away from boredom. Now they Haunt Leamington Spa making sure no-one else has to die of boredom in an E-mail Meeting.

The ghost decided to come back and prank everyone. Probably a long dead British railwayman who lived in the area who had attachment to that spot (If I should even wager a guess).

haunting without a tragic death is another bug that should be reported to the developers so they can fix this.

Yup most stations and many other places here in the UK are haunted. I live in a town that's about 2,000 years old and is haunted like mad. Both train stations are of course haunted too. Saying that though, I've worked at these stations and never saw anything unusual. Apart from the passengers that is... I have worked in other very old and haunted locations on the railways, and done night shifts there. It didn't bother me, I wasn't scared and that told me that there were no evil spirits around. The only time I got scared was when I did my first nightshift at a new location and suddenly, as all went quiet in the middle of the night, I heard breathing! This breathing came from between me and the door, so I couldn't just run out of there. I was frozen to the spot - and then I got all mad and thought, right, let's find out what's going on here! I went to the spot where the breathing came from, ready to give any ghost or other creature a right telling off - only to discover it was the water cooler that was making these noises... lol. Miss those times. Everything has been replaced with computerized technology and offices now. No wonder people that work there are all depressed and aggressive. The real team work we had in better times is long gone. And no I'm not old - that's all only a few years ago.

Listening to this story, with the addition of that specific music, just makes this charming animation of this ghost dancing through the station, and I quite enjoy that.

One of the few stations I’ve gotten off at and boarded at, on a trip to England in 2018. Hadn’t heard about ghosts, didn’t encounter any.

Reminds me of this Mail tunnel I was told about in Birmingham new street station during my time on the cross country course with the Princes trust I can’t remember the exact story behind it but when we down there I did feel like something was trying to get me to go down there
@LittleKitty222 жыл бұрын
Yup the New Street tunnels under the station are a strange place, I've been down there once or twice when I worked at New Street. Luckily I wasn't alone there as this was in 2015 when the whole station was being re-designed (it's worse now than before) so there were workmen hanging around. Well - at least I thought they were workmen... these tunnels are known to be haunted. They are only for staff use by the way, not for the public. I didn't feel scared though when I was there. Just strange.

UK guy here and I'm kinda disappointed the train station near me has, to my knowledge, no ghosts. It's a dinky little request stop with no staff or even ticket machine, so I guess it's not surprising.
