just ordered escan with tablet.... i am a HD diesel tech with an automotive back ground..... i dont deal with automotive driveability issues on daily basis but i do enough side repairs that i can see value in the tests that this tools offers ...

Nice, I think it will help you. It boots up scans,, and gives basic data very quickly. The tablet and case are nice. I run my pico scope on the tablet also. The tool is loaded with "help" features if question come up about certain features.

Great stuff man. I have the escooe elite 4 and i love it. I’m planing to buy the Escan. Thanks for posting new video and explaining how the Escan works with the VE and how distinguish air from fuel. If u can post more videos on Escan or the Escope then please do it. Thank u

Hey buddy! Great channel. I’ve been thinking about getting this tool. Currently a launch pad v is my go to but this tool has some super awesome features. Was curious though- will the Escan scan all modules or is it limited in that capability?

Its only a OBD2 scanner, with cool features. No bi- directional controls or all system scan.

The ecu is adding more fuel as the rpm is increased.how can it be a lean mixture? Can you please explain Thanks

On the Altima the ECU wants more fuel, do the the reporting of the feedback system. As the engine load increases the engine needs more fuel to support the added airflow, the fuel pump just simply could not keep up with demand and the worse it got. Same thing with the Frontier except the fuel was contaminated (with something?) and just could not support proper combustion.

All updates are free. Older cars the date stream is slow, no fault of the tool. Newer cars the data refresh is great. Its a quick way to get basic info, the sharpshooter works great. For me its a great visual aid for teaching .

Does that have metric units as well? like temperature in F to C?

I think you can change from standard to metric.
