An old friend of mine, Rick D. used to sing this to his friend, Joe. Rick loved this song! He learned this in November of '85 when he his friend, Joe, was recovering from a football injury!

In a few short weeks you've turned into my favorite KZbin guitar teacher. The way you explain and demonstrate along with your song sheets has captured lightning in a bottle. Great stuff David. 👏

How about a lesson on the beautiful Bob Dylan song You Angel You? That funky guitar intro doesn't offer a clue to what a killer country rock song this turns out to be.

If you are new here just letting you know that David is excellent in all aspects of teaching guitar. He also includes the stuff that makes the music extra special.

Thanks David. Do you have a lesson on your fingerpicking -strumming style from beginning of video before you break out the pick?

Perhaps try these: playsongnotes.com/lessons/302/ or playsongnotes.com/lessons/317/ - this is definitely something I want to make more lessons on though, so thanks for asking! It'll help make sure they get made.

Love the song and as always your approch to it. I just curious " what style or model is your guitar"? It's a Taylor David why is I'm looking for a different guitar.

Great song addition!!!! I know that many of the songs are member suggestions, but you do a great job of picking the best songs from that "best of" list! Love all the subtle refinements and improvements to the lessons... which is not to imply (at all) that the previous lessons are lacking in anyway! Just wanted to say that I am enjoying how you seem to pack more and more into a lesson and into the PDF.... And by "more" I don't mean more words or more writing... I guess it is just "more wisdom"... And in some ways the newer lessons give the older lessons more value, because sometimes the specifics or the refinements of a new lesson directly apply to an older lesson... And once I learn it in the newer lesson and can go back to the older lessons and see that you were actually showing/teaching these things a bit more implicitly. Which is the long way of saying, that I am loving each of the lessons individually, as well as the "package" as a whole!! :) Thanks yet again!!! :)
