It’s sad in a way she was basically the first artist that had real talent and was given a huge recording contract at just 13, she was forced into an adult world the music industry with not much guidance, other great female artist came on scene faith hill shania Twain and really took over top female country artist spots. Unfortunately she kind of never could get back on top then her infidelity issues that was all public, her career just dived after that Besides the majority of her albums were disappointing on the charts

Standing on the border Looking out into the great unknown I can feel my heart beating faster as I step out on my own There's a new horizon and the promise of a favorable wind I'm heading out tonight, traveling light I'm gonna start all over again And buy a one-way ticket on a west bound train See how far I can go I'm gonna go out dancing in the pouring rain And talk to someone I don't know I will face the world around me Knowing that I'm strong enough to let you go And I will fall in love again Because I can Gonna climb the mountain And look the eagle in the eye I won't let fear clip my wings and tell me how high I can fly How could I have ever believed That love had to be so blind When freedom was waiting, down at the station All I had to do was make up my mind And buy a one-way ticket on a west bound train See how far I can go I'm gonna go out dancing in the pouring rain And talk to someone I don't know I will face the world around me Knowing that I'm strong enough to let you go And I will fall in love again Because I can Well, I have walked through the fire And crawled on my knees through the valley of the shadow of doubt Then the truth came shining like a light on me and now I can see my way out I'm gonna buy a one-way ticket on a west bound train See how far I can go I'm gonna go out dancing in the pouring rain And talk to someone I don't know I'm gonna buy a one-way ticket on a west bound train Gonna have my breakfast with some pink champagne Gonna sail the ocean, gonna spread my wings Gonna climb that mountain, gonna do everything.

Great arrangment of a Igreat song. But for me, who loves bass, I like the original where the bass pushes this song to the very limits of greatness. So glad LeeAnn got off the drugs before she ruined her wonderful voice like so many have done. I can think of only one woman who did a heep of drugs and still kept her voice and that's Stevie Nicks.

@mcworld999 She came onto the music scene in the 90s as a kid. Her music (and much of 90s country) helped me through a rough time while my mother was dying of cancer. I had mad respect for her talent and abilities. I still love most of her music and will reconcile that she is very talented. However, I also remember how she said she didnt want to end up like her divorced parents. What her dad did to extort her financially wasnt right either. However, as an adult, she made her own bad choices and thats when I lost respect for her as a person and somewhat an artist. Her victimhood is of her own doing. She can block all the people she wants pointing out her hypocrisy but a guilty conscience will stick with her forever.
@jrlomy2k3 жыл бұрын
@mcworld999 wow...I didnt know all of that. Thanks for the insight. She definitely has some demons controlling her, but most everyone in the entertainment world does in one way or another. She just seems to have created her own circle of demons. I guess her psych meds arent doing her any favors either.
