I've never been a fan of hers, but OMG...she really put some feeling into this! She didn't have an easy time of it. Pushed as a child in a profession for adults that adults find difficult. Then met her very married husband on the set of "Northern Lights" he had a wife and two sons...she won...if that's winning...when she sings the line in this song about she broke all the rules, baby, she broke them all for you.... I felt like she sang that straight to Eddie, her husband. They honest to God must be the exception, because they truly seem to love each other. It seems legit. I do believe she has had it really rough.

She is smart enough that presently in her 70s she is preparing her entire collection of songs she's written throughout her life to be used and sang after she is gone. She doesn't want a legal battle over her work. Porter Wagner had her in his clutches on tv in the beginning of her career knowing full well she was a gold mine. And she was.. She has no children, other than her God-daughter, Miley Cyrus. The only debate about the song "I Will Always Love You" is personal preference of genre. Dolly's being kind when she talks about others like that...

LeAnn performed in little Logan, Utah this past summer. It was her first concert since she stopped performing due to the COVID-19 pandemic. What a classy, pretty. down to earth and, most of all, a magnificently gifted singer who has been denied too many awards by her peers. I have every one of her albums and am never disappointed in the variety of songs she sings. What an angel on earth she is by lifting us up with her voice!

She was on top when she was 13 and 14 in country music but she spit in their face and acted like a diva . She acted spoiled and ungrateful . So country fans turned their backs on her . She felt entitled and then she had other trouble and stopped recording .many compared her to Patsy Cline and she took offense to it and it upset the country music industry .

Everybody loved her as an innocent princess of the country classics but she grew up and probably wanted to do something different on her own. People couldn't forgive her departing from what she was loved the most for (remember what happened when Mariah Carey stopped singing the monumental ballads?). Then her private life issues went out and the conservative country music consumers began to hate her even more. And I don't know about being offended by making comparisons between her and Patsy Cline. One can find thousands of videos in which she sings Patsy's songs with a great deal of respect and joy. There is no tribute to Patsy without LeAnn performing at it, as with the years of singing her covers, she became the Patsy Cline specialist, a status she enjoys to hold to date. Anyways, I miss her retro classics days too.

Richard: This is LeAnn's first single on her new record label, Sony I believe. I've been lucky enough to see LeAnn 12 times in concert and they have all been great. My longest trip to see her was in 2011 when me and a friend drove from Louisville, Ky. to Omaha, Neb., a 722 mile drive one way. LeAnn gave three concerts over the weekend and we had front row center stage seats for all three. She was just great and the trip was well worth going.
