What a useful video! I have accidentally come across multiple timeline in use on KZbin but never saw it again. I spent many hours to adjust each element's timeline by calculating while making animated videos! It brings frustration and boredom overtime. Thank you!

another valuable updating of Canva, now we can edit as in AE timeline section with tracks and layers, amazing funtion, it seems Canva integrated with so many funtions will take the place of Adobe suit some time in future. Thanks for sharing this.

Sure, glad you enjoyed. I don't foresee Canva fully replacing the advanced functionality found in a # the Adobe Creative Cloud Apps, but I think they've found their own niche with a platform that caters to content creators and business owners who have basic graphic design and marketing needs and prioritize ease of use. It's hard for one platform to do it all. If Canva started to try to bake in all the features found in Premiere Pro and After Effects into their video editor then I think they'd probably start to lose that thing (ease of use) that so many people love about their platform. I think this is the problem all software/businesses face -- where's that sweet spot? How do they provide value the consumer? But it is nice to see that Canva's video editor has made a # of advancements since its inception and it has become a good basic video editor that will get the job done for a number of video projects. It will be interesting to see what they prioritize (and don't prioritize) in the future. cheers, Greg

Working on iPad or mobile is sometimes slightly different b/c of touchscreens and finger gestures vs. a mouse and keyboard shortcuts, but in terms of functionality -- duration, show timing, being able to split clips, etc. -- it is pretty much the same. cheers, Greg

Thanks for the advice, appreciated! I get in a habit of teaching Canva for desktop users as sometimes I don't think it makes sense taking on certain tasks on mobile, but this is a good reminder that people people still find/watch these videos on mobile. I'll try to get better about zooming in to show features so it's a better experience for mobile watchers. cheers, Greg
