Lisa and Drake really made good teamwork to bring out the lesson effectively and efficiently. Drake has a positive mindset picking up painting which he has missed on. This is a great way to keep him on the ball during this difficult time. I think we should emulate him for his impressive strength and attitude. Lisa, our English teacher, has gone the extra mile to make this wonderful for us. We would like to express our gratitude for your extraordinary job, the exclusive interview, and this great video. Likewise my country Malaysia 🇲🇾 is undergoing "movement control order", it's been two weeks already, just extended to another two more weeks until 14/4. Everyone was told you to stay indoors. Let's hope against hope that all of us would be able to see the light at the end of the tunnel. Fingers crossed. ☺🌞

I really appreciated the new expression that I learned in this lesson it’s going to be very useful even if I knew the meaning of most of them, now I think I could use some of them in my daily conversation. Thanks a lot ! No matter what with the virus, even if my projects are in Jeopardy, I’m going to weather the storm.

Thanks for the idioms you have taught me!! I have been on a prolonged school vacation for 2 months already due to the coronavirus outbreak. I picked up reading and learning advanced English for the time being. I went to the supermarket to buy essentials for my day to day life, so I went in and wanted to buy lots of instant noddles, but I thought there’s no use in buying it too much, I just bought some packs eventually. Staying at home without doing exercises, I fell out of shape, I felt really sad, so I started to ride my bicycles around my area a bit to lighten the mood. Still, I am having a positive mindset in the situation as I know we can pull it all together. No matter what we will overcome this difficult situation . I will surely weather the storm and stick it out :)

Hey Lisa, I strive to learn as much as I could the authentic expressions and idiomatic. Here you are my homework, 1) I'm not going to give up now, I got to pull myself together or else I won't be able to face the adversity. 2)I'm ever sorry for my despicable act last night, moving forward I promise it won't happen again. 3)The situation now has changed. You got to change your mindset and shift the paradigm to something more realistic. 4)There is no use in wallowing in self-pity. You might as well make the lemonade out of lemons. 5)I think it's a good idea to pick up a new hobby in this lockdown period. After all, we got nothing to lose. 6)She added a bunch of tomato sauce to the pasta. 7)Enjoying a piece of dark chocolate cake every other day would probably lighten the mood during the lockdown period. 8)Taking a stroll in the park after dinner has become our day to day life. 9)All the lessons would be switched to online for the time being until further notice. 10) Ever since she's stopped working out, her body has fallen out of shape. 11)We keep our fingers crossed, hoping against hope that the people and the world could weather the storm in combating the covid 19 pandemic. 12)I won't leave the UK now no matter what, I'm gonna stay put. 13) We are going to hang in there to deal with the financial crisis. Even if the future outlook is bleak we will try to stick it out.
