"OSS!" is perhaps the most common greeting among MARTIAL ARTISTS,usually accompanied by some sort of bow or salute. the aforementioned being SYMBOLIC of MUTUAL RESPECT for fellow practitioners. to be utilized @ BOTH BEGINNINGS & ENDINGS of various sessions. dig it.

This is a great lesson! I really like your teaching style, Alex. I hope that it's okay to give another suggestion for folks. With 2:32 you can use a variation if you are seeing the person for the first time but you have already spoken with them on the telephone or via e-mail: "It's nice to meet you in person" or "Nice to finally meet you in person!" It feels like this type of greeting is not exactly _informal,_ but it is not a stiff, formal greeting either.
@norax930 Жыл бұрын
A nice video! It would be more helpful if there are following response examples. btw long time no see is actually come from Chinese phrase. some Chinese translate it directly to English as ''long time no see'' and somehow it works well in English speakers' conversation as well lol

Hi Alex. You are a great teacher! Alex, but which is the difference of the sound (pronunciation) between the word with or without the "g" (as doing and doin')? Besides english rules of how writing correctly, what is the sound diferences of the certain letters that seem having no sound (they seem or are inaudible)? Which purpose them? I hope you can make a video about this theme.
