Learn 7 Fluid Art Techniques In 1 Painting ~ GREAT FOR BEGINNERS ~ acrylic paint pouring

I made the pouring medium 2parts pva glue to 1part water by weight.
For ring pour, straight pour, chameleon cell pour, swipe and flip cup pour I mixed 2part pouring medium to 1part paint by weight. I added extra water to some to thin them down so the consistency of all paints was the same.
For ribbon pour I mixed 5part pouring medium to 4 part paint by weight. I added extra water to some to thin them down so the consistency of all paints was the same.
Dutch Pour - My paint recipe for the design colours in this pour was 2parts flood floetrol, 1part paint and 0.75parts water for non iridescent paints. For example 40g floetrol, 20g paint and 15g water. For iridescent paints I mixed 2parts flood floetrol, 1part paint and 1part water.
I used coconut milk hair serum made by Ogx to create the cells.

Claire, a painters tip. When taping off an area and you don’t want seepage, simply paint along the edge of the tape (with white if on blank canvas, I do this on back when taping off) Once dry you can then do your painting and you will have a perfectly sharp edge. This works for wall painting as well, just paint the edge with whatever color is UNDER the taped area. This is the color that will seal the edge, and not show when tape is removed. 😃

The Dutch is my favourite. You know what I would love to see after seeing this? The same setup with the triangles but do a Dutch pour in all of them in alternating directions. I think that would look wicked cool and so pretty.

My favourite is the middle with blowdryer but least favourite are the outer smaller areas. They are all beautiful and I love the cells. I appreciate you having difficulty with the one. Absolutely gorgeous!!!! I LOVE the blending of the pastels....so subtle but they capture your attention and hold it. When you started mixing some of the colors, I really wondered how you could take two complimentary colors and mix them w/o ending up with brown or black.
