Huge Dutch Pour with amazing cells, 120x76cm canvas, fluid art, acrylic paint pouring

All paints are mixed with floetrol and water to the right consistency (2parts floetrol, 1part paint, 1.5/2parts water). I then used a hair dryer to blow the paint across the canvas to create the design.

NOT ONE ARTIST that I watch gave me that brilliant paint thickness test. OMG!!! Thank you so much. Like many other people just starting out and even a few I’ve seen that have been doing it for a while, have some difficulty determining the thickness of their paint. This is going to change the game for me. Ok, so I’ll make another comment when I actually watch the video. I HAD to comment immediately after seeing the paint test because I’m just so excited by that trick. Lol

Fantastic piece that is indeed. Way to go! First time visiting this artist's KZbin and FB page sites! Great way yo test your paints' consistency indeed. I've learned about the paints' consistency test chart for quite a while now from Tammy Anderson, a fantastic, creative and daring artist. She has on online consistency chart you can download to use. Her consistency is usually #3 for most pourings on the consistency chart. She also gives much detailed mixing technique information. I'm a newbie also, so I visit many channels for inspiration on the artists' techniques & ideas, especially those who think outside the box, their final work and how much useful info they offer. Still not ready to jump all in as yet. Where I live there are limited pouring items and very expensive and that is holding me back a bit also. Good luck, go for it and happy pourings!👍🏽

I love your description of your work area! I don't feel so bad now! 12"x24" plant stand, a 33"x44" cardboard art carrier on top of that, a box lined with plastic to catch runoff. My paints and tools are carefully balanced around so the whole thing doesn't tip over! 😂😂🤣😘
