This was wonderful, thanks so much for the demonstration! I'm particularly fond of The Chimney and Captains Courageous. I loved hearing those alongside the accordion, and I'd love to play a duet with my girlfriend someday.

@@PsychicAlchemy oh well I can do the chimney next , sure thing . I'd forgotten about it

Sadly I've had to consign my hurdygurdy playing to another "Groundhog Life" but your videos let me imagine what that would be like. My favourite is Wooden Box off your Ancient Beatbox album - I used to play that on my saxophone and segué to Ronde Du Quercy (per Cock & Bull).

great video! i hope to see more tutorials from you. if i may request 'tin star', thats a favourite of mine :¬) ive also often thought 'rasputin' by boney m would sound very nice on hurdy gurdy, but i have no idea how difficult it would be to arrange. keep up the good work👍 now... if only i could afford one of these haha

Great tune. Looking younger, my friend.

@@migueldoliveiracomposer it's been a while since I was described as a teenage hurdy gurdy wizkid , but not that long ago , I was 42 . That's the British folk scene and its accurate reporting

I tried learning this tune by watching where your fingers went on your original video, but this is much easier than that

Hey, can you talk about the wheel arm, and how you are getting all the cool rhythms? My brother was amazed with the groove of the trompette that you get in Indoor Tree.
