Thanks for this video. I was able to diagnose my drain pump failure and replace. That's the second time I had to replace on this 6 year old unit. First time was close to 200 bucks for the service call and parts. Not this time.

Great video. Mine is stuck in sensing and it won’t start washing. Couple of questions. Code 11 “ circulation pump” mine has one. During the test should the drum spin or should I only hear the pump activate? All I hear is the pump activating. 2nd question. When my drum is spinning, it’s literally bouncing all over the place. Are the balance springs bad?? Thank you

It seems that the selector knob might not be properly engaging with the display control, or the display control itself is malfunctioning since it's not responding to the knob's adjustments.

Thanks for the video. I get error code 3, but the lid switch test blinks on rinse as yours did. It also locks when the cycle attempts to start. Most times the spray jets go off and then the cycle ends. Any ideas?

The issue i have is Anytime i press any button is only changes the time. Even the power button and start button only change the time. I have been unplugging the machine, turning to speedwash and holding start. Thats the only way its been working. Is there a way to reset the electronic system?

Hi Very helpful. But I can only get so far As I went into the detect mode. Pressed start again # 4 keeps flashing??? Hit it again and it says cancel. Can’t get cancel to go away??

I have a question for you! I replaced the main board, that fixed the buttons no longer working on the old one. However, when I go to run a cycle it will fill, just start into wash, and then CANCEL and drain the load. How do I correct the cancel error?

my washer would not spin, lid was able to lock, then cycle stopped, could not unlock the lid unless power off and on again. I got fault code 3, which showing UI software version critical, do you think it is the control board got bad?

The shifter is what control your wash plate from going into agitation mode and locking the washplate for spinning. The shifter has a arm on it controlled by the transmission and if it fails this could be the shifter alone... or it could be the transmission.. and also could be wiring harness not send right signal to the shifter on when to lock and unlock cause the cheap little arm to break. Its very easy to change out. Wiring harness is just a clip, then 2 screws to remove it and reinstall a new one. It will be on the under side of washer. Theres a ⚙ looking that ur wash plate locks into and the shifter connects to that.

Hi Online Appliance Tech, thanks for the great video! My washer spits out codes 14, 26, 23, 25, 17, 19, 1, My washer doesn’t do a complete spin and leaves clothes quite wet. It almost finishes it’s spin but goes into “balancing” mode when it doesn’t have to. It also jumps from 10 minutes left to 3 and stops without doing a good high speed spin. It’s almost like it has a concussion and forgot it’s program. I tested all the components in the test list and everything seems to work. I just don’t want to pay $125 for a service call if I can fix it myself. Thanks for any help you may be able to share. I'm kinda ashamed to admit what I did, but I did and it's over with now...here's the story: The other day during a wash cycle I was trying to intervene in the spin cycle so it wouldn't go into it's "balancing" routine that it's been doing lately, but I missed it. My timing was off and the washer started pouring water in over the already spun out clothes. Well, that triggered my temper and I gave the washer a bit of a beating. I pounded on it and shook it so hard that the dial knob fell off...lol! ( this is the part I'm ashamed of as I should not have such a bad temper...anyhow... ) After I beat up my washer it started working properly and doing the spin cycle like it used to!!! I don't recommend this type of repair, but in my case, it worked. Thanks again for being there for us DIYers who are looking to fix their own appliances. Hi my washer will not spin when in a wash mode or when i select drain/spin. however when i go to the service mode and select 14 i am able to run the spin mode. i also see an error code of 14 and 18...any thoughts or suggestions?

That is a good one without seeing it in person, Error 14 is a Spin Error sounds like a door switch with symptoms but I have seen in the past if the belt is slipping it will not lock due to the motor sensor not sensing rotation. Check out my GE washer video. ( video name is " GE Washer Not Spinning or Draining - How to Fix It") It's about checking and replacing the belt due to not spinning. Hope this helps!

Mine gives me codes 3,5 7,14,17,26 only let's me test 7 which is fine. I don't have the option of 26 and the rest populate a 0 on screen and won't test the error code. What would the issue be?

Unfortunately there is no factory reset. You may have a defective MPC or cut wire or even a part that is not allowing current to get from A to B.

@@onlineappliancetech I took the black cover off , the belt is in tact spins both ways no issue I can tell, nothing expain my issue no utube 3xcept for a drain pump motor being bad, there sound like water but not in the tub maybe in the pump.

Error code 44 stands for drive motor or motor inverter board error. Most of the time it's the motor inviter. I would have it checked by a professional. Hope this helps you!
