Tim,your graffiti artwork is great on HO trains. Since I have N scale, l have to draw mine first with fine ink markers and soft colored pens ,mixed. I redraw quite a few from photos of graffiti trains and I make up my own. It would be very difficult in fact hard for me to draw on n scale models. Not with my eyes of 74 years. So I resize my drawings to accommodate my n scale models by using the HP machine. 🙂 It's very helpful to make decals this way. Maybe l'm cheating to do it this way but man it's easier than trying to squeeze the words into a small amount of space. It may seem that it takes time to do it but l throughly enjoy drawing. And I appreciate what you're doing as a young man and putting to use some of your talents and helping others .thank you for reading my comment. A friend, Mike

Thanks mike! That sounds like a cool way of doing it to be honest. Depending on what I’m doing on N Scale, sometimes I use a pair of reading glasses as magnifiers

Looks great. It inspires me to do more. We will need to do a “weathering Sunday” some week. Or a day where we come up with tags. I should really invest in better markers though…

That looks awesome Tim!! Great job and you are very talented. I learned some new techniques when I weather more of my cars. I like turning nice new shiny cars into dirt bombs all grimed up ready for more work on the layout. Oh and btw HO rulz and N scale drools!!🤦♂️🤷♂️🤣 nah just busting ya. N scale I think you need to have a lot more patience 🤷♂️🤣 Thanks for sharing. Have a great day and happy modeling!! -Jason

some things to note about freight graffiti. most freight pieces are called grounders as opposed to floaters. floaters "float" so you can see the botoms of the letters like your almost piece. but typically on freights the pieces get cut off at the bottom (no bottoms of the letters will be visible if that makes sense) also, writers usually are very careful about their placement, so a guy wouldn't t place the A from almost right over top of the numbers as the rectangle is going to pretty much delete the entire A leaving you with an LMOST piece. just some food for thought..

Not that it matters but the one on the right is a DUB not a throw up. It would be a throw up if it wasn't coloured in white Got some good weathering ideas for a train I'm doing so nice one.
