Azerbaijani sound amazing. I didn’t realise how simple the language is, I honestly thought it was going to be difficult, as a lot of other languages from around that part of the world tend to have pretty difficult languages (Russian for instance is really difficult). I also like Azerbaijani because a lot of the sounds and some of the words sound a lot like my native langue (Scottish Gaelic), so I don’t struggle with majority of the sound. Thank you for the video, I plan to travel to Azerbaijan maybe next year when I save money, so I’m just looking to learn at least to semi-conversational level, so I can really communicate and chat with locals and get a more fuller experience when I’m in the country, rather than just an average tourist experience. I often like to chat and speak with locals and make friends, as you get a better travel and experience in life if you are open to everyone and Also great memories.
@sevdat
@sevdat 4 жыл бұрын
Wow! Who would have know that our sounds are so close to Scottish Gaelic! That’s so cool! Also, respect to you for learning Azerbaijani just because you are going to travel here! What an honorable thing to do! Azerbaijani people will love you for that! Have fun!

@@sevdat Thank you for your kind words. Yeah I try to at least learn the basics of any country I travel to. Even if it's just some phrases. I like languages and have a passion to explore other peoples cultures and always learn new things. My plan was to learn just a few Azerbaijani phrases and words, but now since I've heard it being spoken and also because a lot of the words are phonotic to how they are spelled, it's really took me of guard and seems like a good language to look into learning a lot more of.
