I understood everything without having to "rewind", although you can bet that I'll play it over many times to get that syncopated rhythm down. Despite being a relatively simple lick I struggled to get the basic riff right for ages. I revisited your video and changed my technique so I only down pick the muted low E string and up pick all the others. That seems to be the secret, and sounds much better. I used to alternate pick, with low E on the up picks. It never sounded correct. Tx for your lesson, very helpful. This is a classic and is great to play and rock out to. Tx again and keep it up.
