Really pisses me off it's like they don't want to teach anyone how to do it just want someone to watch their video but I assume they're adding the hair in between the thumb and the point finger at some point 🤦🏽‍♀️

Seun Okimi has the best tutorial I've seen. Look up, "How To Do Large Knotless Braids" Seun Okimi. I've watched so many, and hers is the one where I actually understood because, yes, for the most part, they either don't explain or don't explain and SHOW clearly.

Honestly, most of these "learn to braid or add braids" go too fast and don't slow down enough to show how to add and grab the hair. Here, the hand is blocking the hair addition. Hair looks cute though.
