LEARN CUBASE - 28. Export Mixes and Stems

In this video we learn how to prepare our mix for the Mastering process and export our final mix using the Cubase Audio Export tool and. Using audio export allows us to do a variety of different things all at the same time and have all those different tasks be completely automated. This is a powerful feature that saves a huge amount of time, especially when exporting time consuming things like Groups, Busses, and Stems. Simply set your left and right markers for the region you want to export, choose all your settings, add the job to the Cue and hit start and then go make a cup of coffee!

This is a long overdue comment. I discovered this channel back in 2019 and to this day I have not found a better resource of Cubase tutorial videos than the ones that Steve has put together here. They are clear, concise, very practical, and the information is delivered by Steve in a friendly no nonsense fashion. All killer, no filler. The only disappointing thing is that this YT channel doesn’t have more subscribers. This is outstanding content here. If you are a beginner to Cubase, and you found this channel - consider yourself lucky. There are a number of people who cover Cubase on KZbin, but nobody does it better than Steve.

In the Export Audio Dialog box, in the upper right under channel selection, make sure 'Multiple' is selected when you select your outputs and then, below the 'File Format' window, make sure the 'Effects' selection window says '+Groups and Sends'

Is it possible to export multiply tracks with different length, without adjusting markers for each one?

This is done using the cycle markers function. You can create as many as you want and they can all have different lengths
