hi rich, i just would like to point out that it should be perfectly normal for well-mannered people not being too loud and to be able to show some respect when they are guests in a foreign country no matter what country that is.. :) btw your pronounciation is great, keep it up! ;)

***** Thanks for your comment. yeah, I totally agree about being well-mannered but it is surprising how often people aren't (myself included sometimes). :)

Do you know where I can purchase a book of English for Czech speakers? I am trying to learn Czech from a different perspective.
@LearnCzechwithRich9 жыл бұрын
joliettraveler Hi, interesting approach. Well are you in the Czech Republic? If you are and you are in Prague, go to the really book shop on Wencelas Square, called Luxor, then go to the very bottom floor and you should find something there. good luck :)

Hello! I have been looking for very simple online reading resources or exercises, and all I have been able to find is Grimm's fairy tales and such which I actually find to be a bit difficult. Do you have any suggestions? Děkuji moc :)

mmbestfriends Here are some online resources: www.czechstepbystep.cz/en/studenti/elearning.html for the first two books the resources are just flashcards but for the pink book there are a variety of exercises. I will try to find some more materials for you and post them here. Rich

Richi, I got one question - do u speak any other foreign language? (I know it's pretty hard for people whose native language is English)
@LearnCzechwithRich9 жыл бұрын
Sanky CZ Hi Sanky, I am sorry to say that I do not speak any other languages. I was always very bad at languages at school, I studied a little French and Spanish but really made no progress. Unfortunately I was not motivated to learn languages when I was younger, plus I think I need personal interaction to learn, rather than simply classroom learning. What about you? How many languages do you speak? Rich
@sankycz76419 жыл бұрын
Learn Czech with Rich Hi, I speak Czech (of course even Slovak), English, Italian, quiet German (I still learn that) and I wanna learn two more - Portugal and Russian. I still study at high school, but when I grow up, I'd like to be either a doctor or something with foreign languages :)
