Effective Hit Points. If a hero with 1000 hit points and 25% evasion is being attacked by a drow that does 250 damage per attack; then, she will have to attack your hero 5 times rather than 4 since 1 attack will likely miss. This means, your hero effectively has 1250 HP.

sorry if i´m wrong but Craggy Exterior´s mechanics are that there is a chance to stun unit before it attacks you(before the damage is dealt/ not after) and on lvl 4 the chance is 24%,,, in my opinion that is the form of block... thanks

I don't know about Dota 2 mechanics, but in Dota custom map mechanics, Void's backtrack works like a hp removal. First it takes damage, then it plus the same number of damage taken directly into Void's HP. Hope it helps, and hope that I wasn't wrong all this time.

Not only that. Some spells (Zeus nuke and ult, net from Meepo, Amplify damage from Slardar, ult from BH...) and also the Necronomicon dudes.

There are some clever things you can do to make it more likely to hit however, for example if you know the enemy will run up a ramp you can place the sun on the side of the ramp the enemy is running from, he's sure to pass that area. Another thing is suns are more likely to hit if the enemy is still running from your team, he's unlikely to change direction.

Whats complicated about animation cancelling? You just press the S, for stop, or H for hold key to stop attacking. Spam S in order to last hit effectively.

you pick the most useful heroes like invoker or prophet or darkseer in the firststage then you pick two support hero and a semicarry then you lastpick a carry you ban the heroes that counter yours e.g. if you want to draft pudge, you ban balanar

backtrack from void works like autoheal. its not exactly evasion. note that theres is no "miss" when bactrack proc. your damage is actually hit the void. but when backtrack proc. it autohealed the damage. so mkb wont do anything agaisnt it. evasion wont stack. will take the higher value i believe.

absolutely yes like the video said it's unique ability (the name of mechanism is heal triggered), it's not an evasion ability

backtrack is trigered healin. when trigered he instantly heals the exact amount of dmg he recieved. there are some cases that he can heal a little.

Effective HP is how much damage you can take before your health reaches zero. Say, if you have 600 health and lion fingers you, you will still survive because your base magic resistance increases your EHP by 25% to spells. Instead of taking 600 damage and dying, you would only take 450 damage, and still would have 150 HP left. Same thing goes for armor etc. Basically damage you take is reduced, so your EHP is how much damage you can take before death, and health is not 100% accurate.

I don't think it is does, as the mechanics of backtrack (as far as im aware) are not typical evasion, where when physically attacked, evasion is rolled, then damage calculated, but rather damage is calculated THEN evasion is rolled. Backtrack mechanics, are very literal in that it could be explained Void takes damage, and backtracks shortly through time to a point before he took that damage.

dont listen to ThePrzemekczech, NEVER pick 5 carries, regardless of any situation. The key to countering am and morph is disablers and also shut them down as much as possible early game. Heavy nukes could also work, also one hero that practically counters almost everyone is doom. Hope that helped :D

if the hero you have chosen is getting less creep kills than the other hero you are talking about, its likely that they need the farm more than you, in which case, dont bother competing with them, as you will ruin their farm, instead aim to harass, and make it easier for your lane partner to get last hits. if done correctly, there should be opportunities for you to get last hits, because heros can only attack one thing at a time (usually) if they use aoes or cleave, just try to pick some off :)

Not really that simple, there are strategies involved that goes simply beyond staple bans and pick like you have listed. Do you really want a dark seer or a prophet and when you get a choice, which one do you pick first? Also take into consideration what the enemy picks, not just ban heroes that counter but heroes that compliment enemies well. Also pick heroes your team mates can play or are better at and not just simply because it suits the team composition better.

Bactrack in Dota 2 is NOT a triggered heal unlike Dota 1. It just reduce the incoming damage to 0 (Look at the combat log)
