It seems to me the reverse flower is essentially a block followed by a strike. The way I figured out the timing for the double was to keep saying to myself "block block strike strike, block block strike strike" in my head as I was going through the motions.

First off that movement is not for attacking its primarily used to get used to how to move the blace and how long it is second those hook swords are to thin they were probably cut out of a sheet of metal all in all not bad but you have the wrong idea of how to use it
