Matt, you're the teacher we never had, in some cases. I've used your learning methods from other videos, including this one, and have applied it to my job. I've gotten a raise every year and constantly outperform my coworkers. Thank you.

Glad to help Kevin. It's people like YOU that I plan to create more content for. We "Adult Learners" have unique issues that are unlike college-aged students. What sort of job/career are you pursuing? What suggestions do you have for new topics you'd like to see me address?
@kevinimmanuel92792 жыл бұрын
@@BeSmarterFaster I appreciate your response. I really love all the* content you upload and discuss. I am currently a Data Analyst and will be pursuing a career in Data Science and Copywriting. I'm personally foreseeing a merger between big data and marketing in the future. As far as new topics are concerned, there's a few that comes to mind when speaking with other young professionals. You could talk about networking (many people don't even know how to attend events or approach strangers), or unlearning bad learning habits/skills that most students encountered while in school. (I usually think about the Prussian education system vs the Trivium Method). Let me know your thoughts Matt.

In fact many of the greatest minds in history were diagnosed with learning disabilities because they didn't fit other people's expecations. Be voracious in pursuit of learning. Be self-taught. Hello Mert. Welcome back. Thank you for the compliment. Much appreciated. I am on a mission to make a positive lasting difference in the lives of students (of ALL ages) around the world. Back in the 1980's when I approached a number of public school systems and conducted free seminars for both their students and the teaching staff I discovered that the students loved me. The teachers... not so much. I think I represented More Work for them to do. Instead of following their pre-written lesson plans they'd actually have to be a little bit more creative. Fortunately, there are still many teachers who are truly dedicated and constantly strive to find better ways to get the material across.

Sir can you please elaborate spaced repetition . I have an entrance exam and i would really like that for revision. Thank you
@BeSmarterFaster2 жыл бұрын
Yes Aryan. As I mentioned, in this video I have 3 videos that will help you use Spaced Repetition for studying. You'll see the links for them under the video description. In short you want to give yourself multiple exposures (repetition) to the information you want to learn, with a bit of time (space) in between each exposure. In other words, you'll get far more value from studying the same information in 8 groups of 15 minutes than you would from studying continuosly for 2 hours.
