Hey Pawserve! thank you so much for this video! I've been using it and the spreadsheet! (thank you Alquatica!) I did want to mention a little tip that I noticed wasn't on the spreadsheet, and for others to know as well!: For tier 2 hybrid numbers 24 and 25 (ginger and yellow ginger) they are the ONLY two crops that are dependent on the time that you mix them at! Crop #24 needs to be mixed AFTER 6pm, Crop #25 needs to be mixed BEFORE 6pm. I was trying to mix it constantly but couldn't get the other for some reason (since they share the same seeds) tried it again in the morning and voila! got the crop lol

I would suggest starting slow. Maybe pick a Tier 2 crop like one of the lightbulbs and only make that. Once you make your 1st one it sorta clicks more, at least for me. Trees are also a good place as well since you only gotta plant it once :)

The luck for the day influences how often you get your hybrid to work out. Check your TV in the morning to find out how lucky that day is. I find the first time making a Gen three crop it usually takes a few tries. Good luck!

Tip when making hybrid and rare hybrids, use seeds instead of crops. :) Also, do the save and reload trick so that your seeds won't go to waste (especially when making rare hybrids). I have a video uploaded on my channel on how I do it. :)

I have those in the videos. Both to save often and you can use either crops/fruit or a mixture. I didnt include the carrot thing though. I'm not sure if you watched the video or re-stating but those points are stated. Very good points and people can save a lot of headache and money on seeds if they do this.

Another thing I noticed, if your crops are nearing harvest, they won't wilt/die if another season comes in. I planted rare hybrids in winter and it took the whole season for some of them to grow. I thought some would die once Spring came but they stayed and I was still able to harvest them. As long as the crops are almost ready to harvest, they can still stay planted until the next season.

My helpful tip is SAVE before each attempt at hybridizing crops, just so you're not wasting seeds. Bit of a way from Vesta's farm to your farm and back, ergo saving and reloading is your friend. Another tip is seeds is more preferable, on the basis of Vinnie hating Carrots. He'll take the seed, not the crop.

I wanted to explain why I choose to use "Basic Crops (Vesta seeds) > Tier 1 > Tier 2" for Hybrids and not the older way which was Gen 1, Gen 2 and Gen 3. A lot of the resources that are being passed around from either older or newer players have been describing hybrids as Tier 1 & 2. I got a beautiful spreadsheet that is included in the video description that supports this way too. Originally I had my video set up to explain things in the Gen 1/2/3 way but I didn't want to confuse people by saying that and then people seeing in the spreadsheets or websites "Tier 1 and 2?? what? Is it Gen 3 or 2?" so I hope you all understand

Tier 1 crops/seeds are the normal ones you grow. Tier 2 are the combination of two tier 1 crops/seeds. Tier 3 are the combination of two tier 2 crops/seeds. :) They are actually classified as Gen 1, Gen 2, and Gen 3. (Gen = Generation).

I changed my video to fit with all of the current charts people are passing around which are the basic crops, Tier 1 and Tier 2 as stated in the spread sheet and the other websites that were posted in our community. I had it as gen 1, 2 and 3 but yea I didnt want to confuse people

I'm still testing this, but if you create hybrids on a good luck day it seems to give you a better chance at hybrids. The TV said amazing luck and I think I only got 2-3 regular seeds out of 50 seeds.

They do not get passed on sadly, but if the crop is at S rank that will be passed on to the seeds. Not the happy lamp effects or the sagesoil effects though.

Anyone wondering how to get S-grade blue fruits?, try this tips i did. Mix a regular S fruit with a blue fruit, for example : s-grade apple fruit + a blue grape fruit, it will make an s-grade blue grape seed. I tried with seeds and didn't work, but with fruit+fruit does work.

Edit: doesn’t work for me 🥺 I’m trying to make regular Abblu into S rank. Combining with S green apple gave me a S green apple seed. Combining with S orange gave me a S blorange seed. Lastly I combined with S apple and it gave me a regular Abblu seed

I would keep most of my trees in the poor and average soil fields and use the best field for all of my crops. Honestly though I plan on putting some trees in the back of the amazing field so the hill can be covered some and make it look a bit prettier but if you want to min / max that's what I would do

If you have an S Rank crop you can combine it with a fruit to make it S rank. I'll post another comment from a user that should help. When you use the happy lamp flower to get seeds that grow in any season, does that trait carry over to the grown crop after you put it in the seed maker? Or would you have to mix the new seeds with flowers as well

the effect of the happy lamp and sageoil flower will only apply on the seeds you combined them with. after harvesting the crop, it won't carry over the effect. except for the trick blue flower's effect since the crops you will be harvesting are the blue hybrids, you can turn them into seeds and grow more blue crops.

since upseed flower helps you get an S quality crop, once you plant the crop, you will get S quality and you can put those in the seed maker for more S quality crops.

Nah you can plant them in any soil if you use the sagesoil flowers and combine them with your hybrid. Now most hybrids will say "only x soil" and most want average or amazing field so be careful if you don't have any sagesoils

They don't sadly :( they will be normal ranked seeds. Although I think rank sticks around.. If you put in a S rank crop you'll get S ranked seeds iirc.

I don't have any data on Crop 10 sadly :( I would love to learn what it is! and Hrm.. it can't be transformed into S Quality? Did you try to use an upseed on it?

All tier 2 tree, it easier to get its s quality than tier 2 crops and because it's don't need the s loop with seed maker(for example you got the tier 2 crops you need at least 2 of them to do the loop, you plant and harvest 2 crops, keep 1 for seed maker, sell 1, but the tree bear fruit 8 at once, so you can sell 7 keep 1) the lowest selling price is 635(s quality) but the tree bear fruit twice so 15(because you keep 1)x 635= 9525 for 1 tree. remeber you can cut tree and replace it after the second harvest S quality Tree trick from ps2/gamecube version still work mix b tree seed(make sure it's in first slot) and a s quality seed(whatever anything work as long is S quality, the most easy way is mix a seed with up quality flower) and vinnie will spit out S quality version of the tree seed

If you use Sagesoil you can. A lot of the hybrids will state the quality of soil it needs but the Sagesoil flower it'll allow you to use any field you want.

Hello! Great video but I do need help with one specific hybrid. I know to get S tree crops you can mix a B tree seed with an S vegetable. I know to get S Blue tree seeds you can mix the B tree seed with an S fruit. I have 28 S tree crops, but Abblu *always* gives me a B Abblu back. Mixing it with anything but apple results in getting the other tree fruit (ex abblu plus peach gives peablue). I tried Apples and Apple seeds, save scummed for two hours flipping the order of the Abblu and Apple in Vinnies slots, but cannot get an S Abblu seed. I know I can just fertilize it but I don't want to. Has anyone had success in getting the Abblu to S from mixing with Vinnie?

Best way is to use an S rank crop seed (not tree seed). I've tested this and it does give you back an S rank tree seed.

@@LovelyDaly that worked for the regular tree hybrids, but will result in a blue vegetable crop if you are using it with the blue tree hybrids. I tried many many times and every time it turned to a blue ground crop over an S blue tree crop. It basically treats the blue tree crop as a trick blue flower. Unless there's maybe a combination I missed that did work for your Abblu tree, I am willing to try if you remember what one you specifically used!!

@@erical5155 ah I'm so sorry I misread >.< I'm going by memory here, but I did have to google it cause I was having trouble with it. I found a reddit post about it, using the S rank base fruit (the seeds worked for me) with the blue tree seed. They mentioned there are other combinations, but I followed the ones they had listed. The Abblu must have a very low chance of it happening cause I spammed it, but I DID get an S rank seed. I'll write the combos down for you (and for anyone who would read this): S Apple + Abblu = S Abblu S Apple + Bluenana = S Bluenana S Banana + Grablue = S Grablu S Grape + Blorange = S Blorange S Orange + Peablu = S Peablu

Hey I was trying to look into the gold per day for Tier 1 Hybrid Crops, and I noticed something with the spreadsheet you shared :o In their key section, they list that all prices are for B crops, and so I was trying to compare the B crop and S crop prices by looking at two different spreadsheets--but I noticed that they seem to actually have the S rank prices listed!
